As someone well into their senior years who has had a passion for learning and books for more than 7 decades, I am always seeking to learn more from topics from A to Z. Even though I do not consider myself a religious zealot I am a spiritual person who was raised Catholic but as I matured, I also studied Zen, Taoism, and numerous other world religions. I also have had a lifelong interest in numerous martial arts (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Boxing, Wrestling, MMA, Krav Maga, Combatives, guns, knives, and various other military warrior arts. This is why when I first saw this 256-page soft-book on Amazon (The Military Guide to Armageddon: Battle-tested strategies to prepare your life and soul for the end times) I decided to purchase it.What I did not realize until I began reading this book is that this was actually a Christian religious treatise combined with military principles and procedures to hammer home the message that we must all prepare now for the biblical predication that we are arriving quickly to “the end of times.” This books employees a military approach to fighting evil, which for someone who also served in both the military and law enforcement, made this book an interesting read.Strangely, I do not know about Satin taking over our earthly realm; however, I certainly believe there is a lot of evil human beings in our world and the scary thing is, it seems a majority of ignorant and gullible people who vote seem to actually want slavery from the government, over freedom and individual liberty. No doubt our country, as well as others, keeps voting for far-left socialists, whose philosophy is slavery, even though capitalism and freedom has proven itself to be a more rational and productive system.In any case this book is organized into three parts covering the following topics: The making of a warrior, battle ready, knowing your enemy, center of gravity, fog of war, vision, courage, checklists, boot camp, Spartan warrior training, rest and recuperation, obstacles, obstructions and opportunities, weapons and fire power, prepping for end times, and coming home. Each chapter presents a military principal approach and a Christian religious approach as a summary at the end of each chapter.In conclusion, I always try to be fair and objective when reviewing any book. Even though I found this book a little too much Christian bible thumping; nevertheless, there are parts I enjoyed because of the military emphasis, which is why I gave this book four stars. Since we are all flawed, and the devil may indeed be hidden inside some of us when one considers how much evil there is in our world. Title says it all. If you're unsure of your direction in life this will set you on the right path. Great value for your money.

Good for all Christians, examples pertinent to military but applicable to all wanting to lead the Christian life

This book has given me the light that I needed and the fire lit to go forth. It's hard to realize we Are in the end times, but what to do and how to do it? I have a new and different perspective now at the true urgency of our roles as Christians. Thank God for this book and speaking to the authors for helping us all.

This book describes events today and has questions and items to do to be prepared for things to come at the end of each chapter.This book gives a very good perspective of current events from a retired military chaplain.

Awesome book!!!

Lot of info and interesting to read

The very first page got me into this book. It is needed now to help all of us through this terrible time. The authors are encouraging us, as believers, to get ourselves ready for battle, which Col. Giammona explains how we will get prepared. I am not finished with my book yet, but I can tell you, it is very difficult to put it down. We are in a battle between GOOD AND EVIL, AND WE WIN!!!!!!!!!

This book combines Christian doctrine with military SOP. It makes for an empowering read. Highly recommended.
