Sweet Earth Hickory and Sage Smoked Seitan Bacon, 5.5 Ounce -- 10 per case.

I purchased this today at a local branch of a national natural foods store. I love the Sweet Earth Burrito line that I get at Target so I thought I'd give this a try. I didn't love it. It was just ok. My kids who are both 8 years old prefer the Morningstar fakon to this. A strong hickory and sage flavor but in the end the texture just wasn't the right combination of chewy and crispy.This is one of those products where I think you'll love it or you'll say "meh." Try for yourself. Just wasn't right for me and my family.

I really love this fakon. I typically buy Morningstar because it's been the better of the fake meats to add to my BLT's and Fakon Cheeseburgers but I saw this I the store one day when I was hungry and it looked so pretty in the pack. They say don't go to the supermarket when you're hungry because you end up buying stuff you don't need. Well this was one of those items I threw in the cart it man am I glad I did. Honestly, it has less "meat" than the Morningstar pack but it's worth the buy. It's "meatier" than Morningstar and you can choose to eat it meaty or cook it till crisp. My four year old (who eats meat) loved this. It has a long shelf life too. It's worth a shot to go to your local Whole Foods and grab a pack. It's yummy!

I really, really wanted to love this. Or at least like it. But yuck. I fried it up in a pan with some faux butter and it looked so good. And then I bit into it and thought it was awful. I saw the positive reviews that prove that taste really IS in the mouth of the beholder.

This is the best vegan bacon I have ever tried, and it is all natural and contains no MSG, unlike many of the grocery brands. Please lower the shipping cost, though! Then I'll be able to order from you.

This stuff is amazing!!! When I was younger I didn't really like bacon, so I wasn't in a hurry to try this, but it was surprisingly delicious. I ate it with follow your heart vegan egg and a bagel!
