Lijjat Papad, Cumin (Jeera), 7.06-Ounce Pack (Pack of 20)

So I've had papadums at Indian restaurants, but at home I've had Sharwood's plain papadums, which are pretty darn basic, though their Madras-spiced ones are nice. Anyhow, I couldn't find spiced Sharwood's papadums anywhere, so I had a search and decided to take a flyer on these. And I am extremely pleased I did. These are larger, about 7" in diameter, and a bit thinner than Sharwood's, but that's fine, because they cook up wonderfully, lots of waves and blisters (put them in a preheated convection toaster oven at 450 F for about 40 seconds, no oil needed). Wonderful flavor, not hot at all, excellent texture, as good as any I've had. And my goodness, it really is a huge package, 20 individually sealed packages of about 15 papadums each, all bound in a clear poly bag and put inside a sturdy carton. Mine arrived no worse for wear. Yes, a few papadums may be cracked, but it's really not a big deal. These are going to last me for a good long while.

Great taste in less than a minute in the microwave! (they will cook well 3 at a time on a paper towel for about a minute - I tried a plate, plate got too hot) The restaurants around here charge $4 for 4, and these taste as good as the restaurants! (maybe they buy them from here, lol) I love these papadum, they are my craving like others crave potato chips. The local restaurants are going to wonder where I went! I froze most of them (they came very well packaged, hardly any breakage). Looking forward to maybe another flavor next time I get them!

These savory crisps are easy to bake for snacking anytime. These crisps are a lot better than fried potato chips. We love them.

DO NOT BUY from this seller! Fraudulent advertising. Received 1 pkg of small size, NOT the advertised “20 pkg”. Read the latest reviews, they all say they only received 1 pkg. Very expensive for 1 sm pkg! Amazon needs to remove this seller.

Similiar to the pepper and masala ones I've had from this company. Each one is about half the size and each pack seems to have about twice as many. Still prefer the regular size ones.

wonderful snack or side with a meal! Cooks fast in microwave and super thin and crispy!! SO GOOD! highly recommend!!

Very disappointed! The ad for this product is misleading. I paid $21 for one pack. Pretty expensive. I’ll go to my local Indian Market next time.

These are great! Excellent flavor and just the right amount of cumin. For those who complain that a few came broken, let's add a little perspective. These are a fragile, very thin and brittle product when raw. They are made in India and shipped all the way around the world for you to enjoy here in the USA. Let's cut them a little slack on a few of them showing up broken.
