Can this also be used as a cold pack?

The My Heating Pad- Hot Therapy Pack can be used cold, however please note that this Heating Pad is not meant to be used as an ice pack. It does not get as cold as an ice pack or a regular cold wrap. I do not own a microwave will this be ok heated in an oven?
