Works well loosening stubborn weeds and soil, but it takes strong arms and shoulders to turn the handles. Longer handles or detachable handles would make it perfect. I was almost tempted to extend the handles with PVC pipes. A flat stepper plate would also be excellent idea.

I saw someone working with one of these in my neighborhood and found it here. It was so useful in breaking up some really tough dirt in my yard. I had a big patch of weeds and this tool cut the time in half. You just plant it in, twist and pull. Couldn't be easier.

This garden claw works great: you just have to add a little bit of body weight, turn, and there you go - weeds are uprooted, and it saves on back pain of constantly stooping down.

I garden all season long - from the first sign of the crocuses until the frost and onset of snow stop me in the fall. I can not believe I have lived more than half my life without one of these. It has changed the way I can garden - literally. With bad knees and a not so happy back anymore, I have not stopped using this thing since it arrived. It is fantastic for loosening soil. Sure, it is tremendously useful for weeding - but it is even more useful to me for digging. I cannot push with any amount of decent pressure on a good garden shovel anymore ... Now I am able to loosen the soil of the hole I am digging with my weasel and just drag the soil out with the shovel. So I'm getting more work done and not hurting and aching as much while I am doing it or after when I am done. First day I used it, I invited my next door neighbour over to try it. The next day, she had picked up a similar tool herself.

Such a nifty tool! Takes up weeds with their entire root ball, which you can then shake out and reclaim all the soil from. Would be nice to rotate both directions, you sure end up a little lopsided after using this for a day - but minor complaint! Does its job great.

I got this to replace a garden claw I had for many years that broke, whilst it has a good solid construction the handle grip is awful, it is really hard work to turn and I got blisters on my hands after a short time. I miss my garden claw more than ever!

Works exactly as expected. Sturdy construction, easy to manipulate in tight spaces, and eliminates bending over. Not for deep tilling (past 10 cm). As usual, delivery was speedy.
