Good , my old SanDisk multi card reader was used for 20 years . On this time like buying same brand .

If you want to know how fast your RAW images can transfer from your high-speed card to your computer with built-in USB-C, this seems to do the job quite well. I replaced my USB 3.0 reader (by Lexar) which works but this is much faster and handles all my versions of cards.

Don’t buy those knockoffs . Just go with the named branded one. I had a lot of CF cards from years past and been trying to get them into a MAC. Finally found one that worked

Great reader/writer. Reads at 190MB/s with my Sandisk extreme microsd. The reader is a bit large, so it sits very nicely on your desk. Yes, it will get warm with sustained transfers, so will any and every reader, especially if they're supporting higher speeds. This supports UHS2 transfer, so you'll only see higher speeds if your card is UHS2 or UHS3. However, this does NOT support UHS3, so if you have UHS3, this reader won't unlock your full potential. Now, my only gripe, and the reason I took off a star: When it says that the cable type is "USB C", that's... kind of right. The cable that it comes with has a USB-C connector, BUT the other end is the gross, uncommon "Type B Micro USB 3.0" that looks like two different connectors side-by-side. And the cable is only about a foot long. If you only need to plug this into your laptop, great, rock on. If you want to connect it to a desktop and need a longer cable than the shorty 1-footer that they supply, then your choices are quite limited. Sandisk, you clearly recognize that USB-C is the standard now, why couldn't you use that on the device itself???

I use this for my CANON T3i SD card to transfer photos to my PC. Its quick on transfer speed and its user friendly. Very self explanatory. Would recommend to buy those who aren't tech savvy or even tech savvy but overall very good product!

Scandisk makes such great SD cards, but this reader is a loser. When plugged in to my laptop, it did not read any of my cards for more than two or three seconds. I tried it on multiple devises with the same result. I noticed this was a problem for other reviewers, but because Scandisk makes other good quality products, I wrote off their complaints. Should have paid attention. Returned.

This is our second one of these, my wife loves it for transferring images for her photography business, now she has 1 plugged into her desktop and one for her laptop whilst in the field.

Does the job perfectly. Love the speeds with the usb-c vs the older ones I’ve had. Uploading wedding photos takes @ 1/3rd of time. Great performance.

I bought this as my other USB hub died and wanted something reliable, I bought this thinking it would be a little faster in transferring files turns out I get double the speed which half the time needed to export up to three cameras worth of footage which is just awesome, Would recommend this drive, It isn't cheap but the build and speeds display why that is so.
