Ultralife 9v Long Life Lithium Battery (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

This battery does what they say it will do. It recharges to a workable level and then it stays charged for a reasonable time. It would also be an excellent battery for a smoke or CO detector because of the long battery life. The only drawback is the high price.

Went dead in about 3 days.Not sure why but it bit the dust rather quickly. Had to throw it out!

These batteries are just a bit bigger that conventional alkalines. I installed in two identical smoke alarms and one would not accommodate this product. The smoke alarm seemed to work for a while but then started chirping. The battery tested fine, I just think the fit did not allow the proper contacts to be maintained. I let you know if the other one fails as well!

I use these batteries in my Ibanez BTB450 Bass guitar. It has an 18 volt active electronic system. It activates when I plug in to the guitar. If I forget to unplug, it keeps the system operating as if I'm still playing. When I use Alkaline and I leave it plugged in overnight it saps the battery. However, I left these monsters plugged in two days and thought for sure I would have to replace the batteries. Well, I have continued to play on them for an additional month now!

Although the manufacturer claims the battery lasts up to 5 years, my batteries ran out in 2 years. I am using these batteries in smoke detectors.

Honestly, I have no idea how long it will last but I use it on electrical equipment that drains the average battery pretty fast. It's already been months now with this one and the battery indicator is still at full charge. It's definitely a big difference from the regular 9V. Sorry I can't give exact numbers.

January, 2012 review notes company has switched back to original formulation to give usage life advertised. I began using five in our home smoke detectors in June, 2010. By September, 2011 one had failed and the remainder failed by November, 2011, all in the middle of the night I assume due to lower temperature at that time. I would be leery of buying these until there are more reports confirming at least a five year usage life. I will not be buying any Ultralife batteries until then. Too bad since battery says they are made in USA.

Leider nicht wie im Anzeigebild dargestellt und nicht original verpackt.Keine Möglichkeit zu erkennen ob Long Life gegeben ist.Bin gespannt und warte mal ab.

leider kann ich von keiner Langen Erfahrung berichten,Aufgrund Garantiearbeiten hat der Händler die Batterie ausgetauscht gegen eine Andere, die ABER stärker war ( wundert mich, da ich dachte Lithium sei am Stärksten)

Habe die Batterien schnell bekommen und in meine Rauchmelder eingebaut.Hat alles gut funktioniert und habe hoffentlich 5 Jahre Ruhe.

Die erste von drei Batterien mit eigentlich langer Laufzeit hat schon schlapp gemacht. Batterie am 21.12. in Rauchmelder eingebaut und nach 4,5 Monaten schon auf 7,9 V (Piepton),und somit dafür Unbrauchbar. Für diesen Preis ein schlechtes Geschäft gemacht!!! Da kann ich ja Batterien zum halben Preis kaufen, die wahrscheinlich genau solange halten. Mal sehen ob die anderen beiden länger halten. Werde es berichten.

Ich setze die Akkus seit einiger Zeit in Rauchmeldern ein und kann daher bestätigen, dass diese zumindest in diesem Gerätetyp mehr als 5 Jahre halten.Auch als Pufferbatterie für einen Radiowecker verrichtet einDie Batterie dieses Typs seit mehreren Jahren ihren Dienst (das Gerät zeigt an, wenn die Pufferbatterie in der Spannung einbricht).Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier auch.Fazit: Von meiner Seite klare Kaufempfehlung.
