THANK YOU NETGEAR
So, 6 days ago, I ordered another Modem. After receiving, I spent many hours working every angle trying to get it configured. It would not allow more then 1 computer at a time to load to the network. I continued to get a error 651.Finally, I gave up and ordered this. Received it today and within an hour, I had 7 devices loaded and attached to this modem.THANK YOU NETGEAR. Works Great

Information given ws not totally correct.
The info on Amazon said this was the right router for my system. It worked fine until we had to turn our electricity off. Upon turning the electricity back on the routere would not work. I called Xfinity, and they could not get it to work and they advised me to call netgear which I did. Netgear tried to get it to work but finally told me that what I had was a 2013 model router that had been refurbished and was not suitable for 2019. I went to Best Buy and bought a new Router and it is working fine. Sent the other one back to Amazon.

Buyer beware.
I was not expecting a new item but I was expecting a functional item. What I received was not functional. The rf connection was obviously bent (about 30 degrees) to the side and the “warranty holes” were all punctured. All of this would be fine if it worked but it did not. XFinity guy spent two hours trying to sort it out and the problem was this nonfunctional modem. I decided to just pay the monthly rental than deal with this or other companies. Also had to pay the tech for the install which completely negated objective of saving money.

Works great with Xfinity
Successfully set this up with Xfinity in October 2019, saving $80 over a new router... good stuff...

Not exactly what I wanted
I thought I was buying NEW, not refurbished, may have missed the statement, not sure. However, the packaging was a joke, soft bag with bubble wrap for an electronic piece of equipment, No Ethernet cable as advertised. Have not installed and do not know if it actually works. More to follow.

Works great, no issues.
I bought this because my cable company was charging $10.00 a month to rent the exact same model.

Fixed me
Was having low mbps trouble streaming with my old combo router. I think it was just too old. Bought this used thinking it would be a waste of money and not work. That is all I changed, immediately took me to 40+ Mbps speed. Made my WiFi extender not necessary. Give it a shot
