Do i need to buy glue with this or does the kit come with everything you need to put it together?

Yes, needs glue, paint, putty (if needed), sandpaper. Needs supervision for kids.

does the model come with accessories, and does the cockpit open and close?

I don't know if you are a modeler or not but this is a plastic model kit you have to put together. As far as accessories, like missiles, you glue them to the jet. The cockpit can be glued as open or closed. I would recommend that you lookup this model on YouTube before you make the purchase. Make sure you type in the maker and model name in search. Best.

Does this come with a pilot?

NO, this is not come with a pilot.
