These hidden hanger straps work fine, if this is the best situation for your application.
Aluminum hidden rain gutter hangers with a stainless steel strap riveted to it.2 holes in the strap ends for installing them on the roof.Amerimax is a good brand. These straps are designed to be installed where a typical nail and spacer installation is not possible, because they don't have a fascia at all, or the fascia is not vertical, or there is a crown moulding on the fascia. The fascia can be removed and then the wood needs to be repainted. The nail and spacer (ferrule) is the best way to mount a k-style rain gutter.Installation: The brackets are first mounted to the gutter, then to the roof. The front of the hanger bracket clips under the front edge of a rain gutter and a #6 sheet metal screw secures the bracket on the back side of the rain gutter. The strap is then mounted beneath a shingle tab with two nails or screws, as shown in the picture. Depending on your application, an additional small #6 sheet metal screw mounted through the front or top edge of the gutter and into the bracket will keep the gutter from being torn off of the bracket by snow and ice.Leaf guards would help keep snow and ice from catching the rain gutters and tearing them off, as it could just slide right over the gutters. These hidden hangers work pretty well but the rain gutter can swing from the straps causing wear on the wood and paint and over many years can work the nails loose from the roof strap, sometimes causing holes in the shingles above them. Continuing gutters around corners will secure the gutters very well so they do not swing. It is possible to add 7 inch gutter nails or screws in addition to these strap hangers, if done carefully. If you have a steep metal roof the hidden hanger with roof strap will get torn off from snow and ice. Even lower sloped roofs have rain gutter problems. It is a SAFE and VERY good idea to install Snow Guards to prevent the gutters from being torn off or to keep people from potential falling snow or ice.My home had these hidden hangers with straps mounted on a steep metal roof. The gutters were nearly torn off by snow and ice and the only thing keeping the gutters from completely coming off the house was the #6 sheet metal screws securing the front of the bracket to the gutter. The back side of the gutters were not screwed into the eaves with additional screws so the rain gutters were flattened and kinked and looked terrible and were completely ruined and had to be thrown away.Other issues with these hanging strap/brackets:I have seen other installations where so-called "professional" installed them by nailing the straps on top of shingles without any sealant creating holes and leaks in the shingles. The problem is that properly installed shingles can't be lifted high enough to install nails or screws in the straps beneath the shingles. Properly installed roof shingles are nailed and secured with adhesive within a couple inches of the edge of the roof. I have repaired/installed them properly beneath the shingles with screws (couldn't use a hammer) and a whole lot of difficulty and risk of breaking the shingles.

Excellent
I had snow dams this winter and my gutters failed but the hangars remained in tact with only slight distortions.

Light duty, but works.
After inserting the tab in the hole on the bracket, some were hard to turn and get locked in. If you're not careful, the little tabs will twist and break. Make sure to order enough, since they are pretty light.

Long reach straps for carport gutters
Installed 5" gutters on our carport. This was the only hangers we could find to use. They did the trick.

Sturdy and easy to use
I added these to reinforce gutter hangers since we’ve been having heavier snows that pulled loose a section of gutters.

Perfect
Exactly what I needed. My local Home depot didn't have any! And these were cheaper anyway. Thanks!
