This is a tremendous idea. Hence why I purchased it. Love the concept of trying new coffees I wouldn't otherwise know about. And smaller samplings are not the problem (see more later) either. All that is excellent...Two major issues, one minor one.Minor one -- I have only seen this with one other whole bean I can remember. But all these left shells or shucking dust everywhere! It was ridiculous. I have no clue if it is the process or the type of bean or what. But it was a mess and I drink a ton of coffee and grind everything in my OXO grinder. Nothing makes the mess this stuff did.Major #1 -- The description is misleading and the packets were WAY smaller than I anticipated and expected. You get literally enough for two big cups of coffee. That in of itself isn't a problem (see above) it is sheer cost for what you get. I can buy an entire bag or 10-16oz of other brands like Door County or New England coffee for that price per each. Unreal.Major #2 -- Not much to say here but none of the coffees I would ever buy, ever. One was so so and the other 3 were dreadful for me. Taste is subjective but in general these were not good coffees. Plain and simple.Wonderful concept, wish it was a better experience I would buy many times over just to try other coffees I don't know about but no way would buy this again!

Got this for my brother as a Xmas gift so can't say how the coffee actually tastes :) I CAN say that it came nicely packaged and though the bags are small, it's meant to be a sampler so that probably should be expected. You can probably get a couple cups out of each one (and tbh some bags seem more full than others??). The "artisan treat" or whatever that came with it was just a tiny piece of chocolate (think jolly rancher sized) so that's not too exciting. I was hoping for biscotti or something like that! NBD though. Also, not sure about "tasting notes" but they're not in the box. I think you have to go to their website to read them. I am giving 5 stars because overall the box is what I expected and I'll be able to package it into a nice gift. Also, superb customer service--responded quickly and offered a great solution to my issue, so I am satisfied and thankful for that. Looking forward to what my brother thinks of this!

I got this for my wife and she loved the way it was packaged and the flavors. It was the only sampler I could find that was decaf. She tried all the flavors and love all of them. I don't drink coffee but they smelled great. These were packaged nicely in small bags. Perfect as a sampler. My wife ended up a bigger bag of 2 of the 4 she tried. Not sure what the flavors were but I plan on getting here another sampler with different flavors.I'm giving this 5 stars because it was just supposed to be a nice gift and it ended up being one of one my wife's favorite things I got here

This coffee is a great gift! It's because of the presentation and quality of the product. This is a very well put together box with great tasting coffee. My favorite is Ethiopia Suke Quto Honey. I played around with different grind setting for these coffees and felt that 15 was the best setting. I have a Baratza Encore Conical Burr Coffee Grinder. I would give this product 4.5 stars. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because I think the price could be a little lower. Even so, I'm still going to order the medium roast box once I finish with the light roast box that I ordered.

Pro: This box of little coffee packets is cute and giftable.Cons: Tiny for the price. Each bag after being ground up made ONE mug of coffee. Even then, the flavor was watered down tasting and underwhelming. Another thing (that wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't a Christmas gift): it came two days earlier than expected (fine) but it didn't notify me and my husband found the very obviously labeled box in the mail and spoiled his own gift. The box also arrived very damaged and ripped open and I had to tape it all up. Bummer!

I did not read enough about it before I ordered to realize it would be flavored coffee. It came nicely packaged and right on time. I just don't really like flavored coffee. I am looking for a good medium roast plain coffee. It smells awesome and for someone that likes flavored coffee I am sure it would be great. My fault for not reading enough about it.

I got the medium roast. I am a barista at starbucks who doesn't really like super bitter tasting coffee. I was looking for blends that I could drink straight and not feel the need to add sugar or milk. This did the trick. Every single one is very smooth and not super bitter. Hands down the best coffee I have had all year. Bonus points because I was able to make it in my own home. I really fell in love with a specific blend in here so I have hunted that company down and bought 5 more bags. It shipped in a timely manner. Came in a instagram worthy box. What more can I say? Other than I highly recommend you get this.

I purchased both a Sampler box for my boss and a Medium Roast box for my sister in law as Christmas gifts. Both are huge coffee drinkers with very specific tastes and they both had nothing but amazing things to say about the selection they received. I know there have been concerns about the bang for the buck, too expensive to get only 2 cups out of each bag. I'm an avid coffee drinker, and for gourmet coffee, this is a really great deal! You typically spend $4 - $5 on average on a cup of coffee at Starbucks or your local brewery, so considering you get at least 8 cups for $24 bucks (that's $3 a cup), I'd say it's a steal. I will definitely bookmark this seller and purchase from them in the future!

This was a fantastic buy. The coffee is delicious and it is nice to have a variety of coffee's in one stop shopping. The all in pricing and Fedex shipping was convenient and incredibly fast. Bean Box was quick to answer any questions I had before I placed my order. Would absolutely purchase again. The delivery and customer service exceeded expectations.

The coffee was good. But neither the quantity nor the quality justified the price.
