Beautiful LED lights
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am really happy about this product at the moment. I have installed 2 LED sets on this Christmas tree, unfortunately you cannot connect the 2 LED together, however the good thing is that you can control them at the same time with only one remote. You cannot make your own theme, however there are few pre-selected themes you can use.

Better than I expected
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These are the only lights of this type I could find at this sort of price that say they work with Google home (most are flat strips) so I was a bit worried they wouldn't work as claimed. It seemed too good to be true. But since they're the same sort of price as any other colour changing LEDs and come with a remote too I decided to give them a try. After a slightly confusing set up process (QR code didn't work and instructions for manual set up weren't amazing) I was pleased to find they do work with Google home. Although the options are limited compared to the remote and smart life app (which you need to use to set them up with Google). Still it's nice to have that option to control them from anywhere in the house and link them up to other lights. The remote gives the best options for patterns, smart life app gives the best options for individual colours (a full colour wheel) and Google home is limited to brightness and more limited colour options.I don't mind the options being so varied but two things I would really like are the ability to save some colours from the colour wheel on the app and the ability to choose a couple of colours for it to animate with effects like flashing or fading. Currently you're limited to a few pre-sets which are nice, but I feel like there's more potential especially with the smart life app.One little feature which is quite cool is being able to pause an animation using the remote. It's not something I've seen before on other lights and it can lead to some really beautiful effects. I also appreciate how much you can control the brightness. It's also nice that the pre set colours aren't quite the same basic red, green, blue etc as some lights. They're a bit softer/ more pastel which is a nice change. And a couple of the pre-set options include a lot of colours rather than just 2 or 3.I've not been able to get the music mode to work but I also don't care and haven't tried too hard.I also haven't tested how waterproof they are or how possible it is to cut them to size. They have some ability to hold their shape which can be handy for arranging them. As with any string type lights they seem like they will get tangled easily so be sure to roll them up neatly if you plan to store them.Since they're USB powered you can plug them into a battery pack to make them portable or mean they don't need to be close to a plug. I'm hoping they'll work well with a solar charging power pack so they can be left outside without wires coming into the house or batteries needing to be replaced. All in all I'm very pleased and am actually considering getting more of them for any future christmas decoration.

Colours aren’t accurate to the colour wheel app. Basically does Red, Green and Blue.
They were easy to set up, but some of the colours aren’t accurate at all. When using the colour wheel I wanted to make them orange - I got lime green instead. It basically goes from red to green to blue and back again, the purples and pinks are non existent along with most of the oranges and there’s no yellow.I got these thinking I could set it to a nice warm orange but as you can see from the photos, it doesn’t work. The only ‘warm’ colour is the red which is really dark compared to the other colours that have a lot of white to them. For someone with chronic migraines and photosensitive eyes I thought this would be a great buy but it’s let me down quite a lot.The description advertises that you can DIY a colour scheme thing but you can’t, there are 8 presets that all move far too quickly and the music mode is iffy at best.If you just want something cheap that does a basic red, green, blue and white light then go for it, but if you were hoping for all the colours on the wheel in the app then you’ll be disappointed.

Surprisingly very good and the only product of its type, but has a couple issues.
I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering these lights. The idea of smart christmas lights is quite bizarre, but I really wanted a pair of dimmable 50 LED lights for my small christmas tree and I found these, which not only were dimmable, but controllable by a remote, an app and they are even RGB.I'm mostly very pleased with the product, but I had to knock off a star because of the smart functionality and colours. The functionality of the app is quite limited and could be improved very easily. First of all there is no option for white balanced/colour temperature, meaning you'll have to mess around on the (janky to use) colour wheel to try and mimick and normal warm white colour. This wouldn't be much of an issue if the app allowed you to save colour presets, which it doesn't. If you want to find the same colour after changing to another one, you'll have to once again mess around with the janky colour wheel and try to get the same colour. The next issue, colours. The colour inaccuracy is COMPLETELY off for certain colours. The colours displayed on the remote and the app are completely unrepresentative of what the lights will display. Fortunately you can still find most colours using the colour wheel on the app, but it will take some guess work and getting used to selecting the wrong colours. But unfortunately the remote controls selection of colours are quite poor and inaccurate, so I don't use the remote often.Apart from these issues, this product is pretty much perfect. The music feature actually works surprisingly well and syncs very well, with a sensitivity slider in the app to make sure it picks up the music well, and 4 different modes to choose from. I couldn't believe my christmas tree lights were dancing along in sync to the kickdrum in a house song. Absolutely hilarious. The dimming feature works perfectly, being able to tell google to dim my christmas lights to 10% is very convenient and great for late nights when I don't want the lights to be overly bright. And this can also be controlled from the remote and app. The fact the lights are USB is great, because most fairy lights of this size are usually battery powered. Just plug the USB into a 5V plug and you're good to go. Amperage of the plug doesn't matter aslong as it's atleast 1A. The copper wire works quite well for wrapping around the tree, you may have to do some adjusting to get it hidden in a bright room though. But in a dark room the wire is completely hidden and looks amazing. The LEDs themselves are also very pretty. They're like tiny little bubbles. It makes the tree look a bit more unique. I can't speak for reliability or longevity of these lights as I've only had them for a few days, but I will update my review if something goes wrong. Based off of other reviews, they're probably pretty reliable though, and it's always easy to get a refund or replacement from Amazon anyway. This is pretty much the only product of its type I could find on Amazon, and thankfully it works great. 50 LED cheistmas lights that are USB powered, dimmable, RGB and controllable by both an app and remote, and music sync functionality thrown in because why not? I wish I could give this product a 5 star because it is truly remarkable, but unfortunately those couple issues I mentioned do bother me. They could be solved in a software update so if they are fixed, I will be sure to update my review and give it 5 stars. Either way, I highly recommend these lights to anyone interested. They do pretty much exactly what they say they do, and at a very reasonable price.
