Perplexus Warp takes maze play to a whole new level! While Perplexus is usually a transparent sphere, Warp’s shape has been “warped” into an egg-like shape called a spherical octahedron. This new shape is easier to hold and won’t roll off of a table. Also new with Warp is an external slider used to manipulate the marble inside on the track, nine internal cups that act as “baskets” for the marble to leap into, and an internal pivot that gives the illusion the marble is defying gravity. Warp has six flagged check points and 80 challenging events. Ages 6 & Up

Great addition to the Perplexus family!
We now own all five of the Perplexus ball games. This one is just as exciting as the other games, although it is on the easier side to beat. My son (who is eight) beat this one from start to finish in three or four tries over the course of the day it arrived. I asked him to rank the games in order of difficulty, and this is what he determined (1 being the easiest, 5 being the hardest).1) Rookie2) Warp3) Perplexus4) Twist5) EpicSo Warp is definitely not a more challenging game that they came out with, but it is a different kind of challenge. The odd shape and some of the jumps and moves are just fun and exciting to try. I'd definitely recommend it as an easier level game.

Just as cool as the other Perplexus.
I just got this one yesterday along with the Twist and Death Star which completes my collection. Just like the Rookie, Epic and the Original these are all great. I'm finding the Warp very difficult despite the fact it's supposedly easier than the others, minus the Rookie, but it's actually very difficult. The Twist makes me want to cut my own face off in frustration but that's what they're for.I really can't put these down and they all look fantastic... except for this one. I guess it would appear that the colors are chosen at random, mine just looks like an old leather shoe with pale orange and white. But aside from that these are all mostly great. The only issues I have with any other Perplexus is that the Death Star is too hard to see what is going on at a lot of different points and is really frustrating. At least with this one you can see totally what is going on, it's just harder than hell.

Fun For All
This level is quite difficult. We have 3 perplexus games. My son loves these and feel it is great for hand eye coordination non electronic. Actually, everyone in the family enjoys them.

Can't Go Wring With Perplexus
You can't go wrong with Perplexus Mazes. I told 4 Gradkids in one family they would each get a different one for their birthday this year and they were excited to see what each new one was like and anticipated them with excitement. It made it an easy birthday buying for them too!

Fun challenge for a child who has difficulty staying still otherwise
Ordered this for our maze-loving 6 year old for Christmas. I've played with it as much as he has, and it's been fun. He has a hard time staying still, so that's a challenge in and of itself, but this has been fun and he's determined to master it. The downside, for me, is that there seems to be no clear indication of the path to be followed. I wish there had been a written direction with it, because the path doesn't seem entirely intuitive as far as I've gotten. Aside from that, our 6 year old loves it and hasn't complained.

but I am a female and I like it. It's also not a sphere because it ...
Much smaller than the original perplexus. More exciting with manual moving parts and different types of challenges. Feels more masculine in style, but I am a female and I like it. It's also not a sphere because it says it "increases visibility" - I'm not sure there's any real difference though. This game will test your patience for sure - but any perplexus will.

Too challenging for me!
I've watched the YouTube videos on how one can achieve the goal, but they're little help--I'm not up to solving this challenging, frustrating puzzle. I recommend the Perplexus Classic and the Perplexus Rookie for those who want to have challenging but achievable fun. Those are also the ones best suited for youngsters.

Awesome toy!
Fun perplexus! At my house, we have the Epic, the Original, and the Twist. All of which are fun brain games, but all (except for the Twist), were pretty much the same shape with different steps.Introducing: the Perplexus Warp. The Warp in shape is, well, warped. A whole new maze with steps unseen before. Good quality and sturdy playing toy!
