I wanted to love this. My 40 lb Red Setter wore the large size for two full days (during the day only) and already the Velcro is coming loose, the zipper has separated and some edge stitching/fabric is coming loose. He didn’t even do anything strenuous in it. The fabric is soft though.Whether or not it worked for reducing anxiety; I think it was helpful as soon as he had it on, but after having it on for a while, he seemed to want it off. Once removed, he would lick himself a lot. I worried he was too hot in it and he is a very short haired dog.I’m not sure the fit was right for him. The “body suit” fit fine because the fabric is stretchy, but the Velcro belt was bulky and there was a lot of band unused since my boy is so slender. The unused part curled (see picture) and was cumbersome. He was distracted by the unused “flap”. Also, it was hard to get him to hold still to have it zipped up. That’s more of a dog specific issue, but, over time, I might not use it if it’s too hard to get it on him. I think we will be looking for another, lighter weight, no zipper option.

I was hesitant because this was not the "Name Brand", but for the lower price I was willing to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. I had a Thundershirt for my large Aussie that passed away. It was nice and worked so when I needed one for my smaller Aussie that it just a year old I really didn't want to spend that much. Then I found this and I really liked the design. I decided to give it a try. I can tell you that side by side there is NO comparison. This is by far a much better design and much better quality. While the other one worked on my other Aussie, it wasn't perfect. This one is great. No problem with slipping, catching on things and unwrapping. That was my biggest concern with the other brand. This one truly is a huge HUG! Thank you for putting out a quality product!

Our dog was petrified of thunderstorms. She would huddle next to us for comfort and shiver like a leaf. Poor thing.Well, these Anxiety Jackets will NOT cure all of their fear, BUT it will give them a sense of security and REDUCE their fear. Our dogs shivering is greatly reduced and she is much calmer during a storm.

Nelson loved it. After wearing one time in a calm day, he has gone outside willing and on his own. Something he hasn't done for a few years now. Do to gunfire in neighborhood and fireworks. We are thrilled with the jacket and to see him wanting to go out again.It is well worth the $ and fits nicely.

Works great, my 6 pound Morkie use to terrorize the house. She's lightning fast, hard to catch her. BUT once she has this on, she's so quiet, no more running marathons around the house. ( especially around 2-3 am )

I love this my dog has lots of anxiety and once I put this she slept so comfortable this is the Best Buy fit true to size.

The zipper on this kept getting undone by the neck & I would have to kept re-zippering it throughout the whole day. I like the actual brand Thrunder shirt, better. I ended up returning this.

This is a fantastic product! Our little dog has anxiety about everything, the wind blowing to loudly, the doorbell on tv ringing, the kids playing too rough, the squirrels eating the bird seed, the list goes on and on. This vest seemed to relax her immediately! She can't jump on the couch with it on, which seems to be the only draw back for her, but otherwise I think she loves it too. Great material!! Very happy with this purchase! It's about to be tested come the 4th 😬.
