Nitecore 21700 Intelligent Battery System MPB21 KIT: 3-in-1 Light, Charger & Powerbank, Eco-Sensa Storage Case

Great concept but doesn't live up to the hype. As many reviews have mentioned the magnetic battery cap for for both the difused light and USB adapter are flimsy and constantly come off with the slightest moment. This makes carrying it in a pocket or backpack pretty much unusable; leaving your only option to placing on stable platform and not touching until fully charged. Speaking of charging, the 5000mAh rated battery struggles to fully charge my Samsung S10plus (4000mAh). Overall this purchase was a huge disappointment and I would have returned it if I could. Maybe future iterations will overcome these designs faults but as of June 2021 I cannot recommend purchasing such an expensive battery with so many flaws!!!

If you already own a battery charger that can charge a 21700 cell this is very clever. Magnetic light topper gives off light for more than 24 continuous hours. Magnetic USB charger gives you the ability to charge a phone with a 21700 cell.

Product is very handy and reliable. I use the Nitecore 2150HPi batteries for my P20iX flashlight (also excellent) so this integrates into my lineup well. The lantern itself is a very nice 80 lumen light that lasts for about 19 hours on the 5000 mAh battery. East to snap the lantern on the battery. Nice that there is also a magnetic charging cap to either recharge the battery or use it to recharge other devices. It's a high capacity battery that is small enough to have with you as a cell phone or other device recharging option. As others have mentioned - the recharging cap (or lantern top) will pop off with any pressure so no it might not stay connected to a device in a bag or whatnot. It's best to connect in a location where it won't get disturbed. In a perfect world the manufacture would have engineered a way to keep the charging cap tighter - perhaps a longer piece that fit around both ends of the battery however that would eat into the compactness of the kit. Not a deal breaker for how I use this.One or two of these lanterns in each room is a great option for power outages. The battery lasts much longer in this configuration than trying to use flashlights for hours at a time during an outage or say camping.Customer service was perfect. My first one had a dead battery that wouldn't charge. Put in a request for a replacement and it was in my mailbox two days later - before I had even mailed back the original defective one.

Nice piece of kit. I wanted a small versatile battery to use in a motorcycle tank bag to occasionally charge a cell phone or GoPro at stops. I can charge off the running motorcycle but I like to charge the GoPro when my helmet is off and the bike is not running. The light attachment looks handy for using in a tent. I also like the battery can be used in other Nitecore products. It’s much smaller and lighter than my higher capacity charging brick. It arrived fully charged a week before Amazon predicted. I have not had a chance to try it out on the bike, when I do I’ll update the review.

This battery is wider than a regular 21700 battery. It will not fit in standard devices made for a 21700 batteries. Maybe this will only fit in specific Nightcore devices but do not buy this battery to fit other types of devices.

This battery does not fit! It is too fat. It is the correct length but too fat to fit. I waited too long to try it so i cannot return it. That's on me though. BEWARE... it will not fit Olight or Weltool flashlights.

It works OK as a mini lantern but as a power-bank I was disappointed. The phone would charge only when I was holding the cap onto the battery. When I laid it down, it lost connection.
