A big step up from your average alarm clock radio. Sound quality is excellent. Not a big jbl boom box but loud and clear enough for what it is. Dimming timer is excellent. You can black it out completely if you would like.Not recommended for those drowsy snooze button smashers though. If you hit anything but the snooze button, it will shut off your alarm. Best to set 2 alarms in that case, which this clock has!Looks nice.Only drawback I can see is that if you want to listen to something like talk radio on really low volume, it comes out muffled. Not enough treble for that.Otherwise it's an excellent clock radio

All the specs can be found in other postings etc, so I will just focus on the functionality. When I got this clock/radio I was looking for something that would wake me up in the morning and also something that I could use as a Bluetooth speaker when I streamed spotify and Netflix from my laptop. So far, it is great! The speakers are loud and full and can fill the entire room no problem. In fact, they extend beyond the initial room if desired. Most buttons on the unit have multiple functionalities which the short instruction manual lays out for you simply enough, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure this thing out, it's can you fallow 3 or 4 steps at a time simple things our 3rd graders could do. The unit if positioned in front of you provides a sort of surround sound due to the fullness of the sound as well at the design of the speakers, eg, they extend from both sides of the unit front and back which produces sound that "surrounds" you ha. I love the multiple display dimmer settings on the unit as I like to sleep in utter darkness it does not describe me. My only quelm is that the dual alarms cannot be set for certain days. Instead you must turn one off and the other on if you are like me and must wake up at different times every other morning. Overall great purchase for 50 dollars, especially considering most good Bluetooth speakers our there start at 50 or 60 dollars! With this iHome I get that, plus the alarm/radio/clock functionality!! I recommend

I was looking for an alarm, clock radio. I didn’t need all the bells and whistles, but I couldn’t find anything else which was suitable. It arrived today, super fast and well packed. Plugged it in et voila! Dims, plays music, tells time 😊 sleek, very attractive. More than I wanted in an alarm clock, but very happy with my choice!
