Great charger/adapter for ASUS
This charger/adapter was purchased for our sons ASUS laptop. It works great, our son really likes the longer cord, the price was great and it is cooler than the original adapter that came with the computer! This was shipped to us fast and our son is very happy. Also the connection cord that goes into the actual charger has a nicer, stronger cord that plugs into the charger box.

Good for clevo p150hm also!
Works great with clevo p150hm series laptop. charger is about the same weight as my oem charger that started to get fray on the dc out cable, but the actual cable lenght is much longer, and the shape is less bulky, a bit longer and thicker, but width is nearly half the oem one. dc out end insertion was a bit tough on the first few, but it fits and comes out fine now. a bit snug, but better snug than overly loose.at first glance, build quality looks iffy with glossy plastic, I prefer matte, but the actual quality is good, on par with the original adapter I have.

Worked for about 2.months then the charge light went off and won't charge my computer. A lot of money for something that doesn't work.

Good for the price
My OEM charger literally exploded within a year of purchasing my G75VX. Seeing how expensive the OEM replacement was I figured I'd give this one a shot. The angled plug was great... at first. I found that, oddly enough, its shape and size (this one doesn't fit as snuggly as the OEM plug) stressed the power port on the laptop out more than the original and it is now loose. Two years of constantly transporting my laptop around (I'm a computer science student at university) has taken its toll and the wiring within the L-shaped plug has gone bad, mainly due to how wobbly the connection was. Given the price, this charger isn't bad, but I think I'm going to buy the OEM version this time.

Used with Asus G75V "Gaming Laptop". So far, works very well!
As the headline says, im using this with an Asus G75V laptop.Pros+Works Well (even when play a game on 'ultra' settings)+Stays cooler than original Asus power brick (this one appears to be an old Xbox 360 power brick in style)+Cord length is long enough for normal useCons-The plug that goes into your laptop is slightly too large, but eventually 'wears in' and fits better after time.-The velcro that is on the power cord could be wider & longer (it currently is a tiny little piece.Overall:Its a great replacement for your standard power adapter. I had to replace mine when the stock Asus one died on me, and this one so far has not disappointed.

It's a power brick that works on Asus ROG G55VW laptops
My Asus ROG G55VW power brick died. In fairness, I think it was plugging it into an airlines' in-flight power plug that did in the original power brick. So I needed a new one and quickly. There various bricks with various price points that all seem to do the same thing. I opted for the Pwr+.First of...holy cow is this thing big but it does not run anywhere near as hot as the original power brick. It does power the laptop and keep it charged. So yes...it does it's job. But to be clear...this power brick is bigger than the original however, if you are used to that really warm OEM Asus brick, you will have to get used to this one that remains cool while seemingly providing proper power to the Asus ROG G55VW laptop.FWIW...there is no change in performance, nor has there been any sign that the battery or built in power system have been affected by using this new power brick. This works as advertised for me.

Dangerous!
Works great and runs much much cooler than the original. It barely gets warm when the original was very hot to the touch.UPDATE: This charger seemed great but this morning we awoke to a strange smell coming from our daughters room. We looked and the cord from the charger had melted and fused itself to her blanket. This could have been disastrous! Luckily we found it in time. We have had it a few days over 4 months. Must have had something go wrong internally because it used to not even get very warm.

Great quality and value for hard-to-find 180W adapter
When the power adapter for my ASUS AiO P1801 Transformer PC bit the dust after only six months, I was really in a bind. ASUS would not just send me a replacement adapter--although it was supposedly covered under warranty. I was required to send the bad one back to them. What? Be without my desktop computer for over two weeks? No way!So, I went scrambling around looking for a replacement locally, so I could get back to work immediately. No luck. Nobody stocks a 180W adapter, not even the big electronic stores in the greater Houston area. And I was advised that I should not take a chance and replace the adapter with less than 180W.So I turned to trustworthy Amazon and found this company. I am very happy with this adapter. It has a very long cord and a power light. It does not get too hot. Best of all it is half the price of a new one from ASUS.In case you have the same problem with the same computer: You might notice that the original ASUS adapter has a straight male computer-end plug-in, and this adapter has an angled plug-in. Don't be concerned, it fits just fine.
