Men's Predict SOC Running Shoes

Most of you are expecting a review from a seasoned World-Class runner of 30 miles a week... well, all of that is true, with the exception of "seasoned World-Class"... but run I try, and 30 miles is the min. Here's the deal, the Swoosh crushed my feet. Toe nails black, blisters, you name it, I had it. Roasted the soles off those in 6 weeks. Said enough. Thought I would try the running shoe of those who make my everyday/trail runners, Salomon. Slipped them on out of the box and I heard my feet breathe a sign of relief. Very light, very comfortable, mid foot support is great. Fore foot room gives your toes enough room to do what toes should do when you run/walk. GET 'EM! oh... TRUMP2020!

This is an excellent road shoe for anyone interested in banking the urban miles. Im a trail runner and have enjoyed Salomon shoes for years, but never found the right fit when it came to road running.A long while back I enjoyed the knitted styled sock shoes from other brands, but none of them gave me the durability, road feel, and last I was looking for and had grown to expect from my trail shoes. Well, that all changed when I finally found myself in a pair of the Predict Soc.Out of the box, you can expect these shoes to feel comfortable, and ready to run. There was virtually no break-in time for Predict Soc. I'm a forefoot striker, and find these to handle my strike perfectly. As well, the design is such that as you change your strike angle, or fatigue to the heel strike, the shoe will and does accommodate.The knitted sock makes comfort and breathability excellent, however, you will not want to wear these shoes in activities outside of your run, especially anywhere with things that could snag on your knitted outer. I have had very few frayed or pulled threads in these after two months of consistent use.The treads are excellent on road, and I've seen people call these light trail shoes, which they're not, but can see and understand why and how people perceive this.The rebound is subtle, polite, responsive, and not overdone. I've run in shoes that make my feet tired from too much rebound (impact), and these don't do that.If you enjoy Salomon Speed Cross, and want to extend the joy of running off the trail and onto the road, these are an excellent choice. I would suggest, however, wide-footed runners may not find the Salomon fit to be of your liking.However, if you're fortunate to fit the Salomon shoe, the Predict Soc is an excellent training shoe in the gym as well, offering ample support, flex, rebound, breathability, and durability that these can be your primary shoe.In terms of how long they will last, I have just begun putting the miles in on them, and will update this post when I reach the end of life, with a mileage update.If you're on the fence, go for it!

I had bad a bad case of planter fasciitis and I bought a pair of Speedcross 4’s and it went away. By the way, that’s a great shoe. I’ve also tried some of their road running shoes and they’re alright but nothing came close to the Speedcross. That is until now. The Predict Soc is so good. I put them on and immediately knew I was going to love these shoes. Very light weight. So comfortable. They look awesome and I hear that from other people as well. Buy them. Your feet will thank you.

The shoes fit well, however, the high heel support in my opinion is an ergonomic design error. In my first use of the shoes I ran for one hour, feeling some tightness and discomfort after the first fifty minutes, when I took them of I discovered blisters on both heels. This morning I tried again and the session had to end before ten minutes!It is a real pity, I will have to order a new pair but of a different style.

I've gone through 3 pairs of Solomon trail runners and they'll easily last a solid 1000 miles of hiking.The first thing to go will be the laces, the rubber rip at the bottom wearing out; but I've never had structural damage in a pair of solomons. And that's saying something! When's the last time you had a pair of Nikes that didnt basically explode after a year of wear??🤮These are excellent running shoes. Best I've ever bought.

First pair Of Salomon I have ever purchased. Wanted to try something different .I liked that I could order this shoe in a half size. The fit was perfect . I don’t run but do a lot of walking and they have been very comfortable, very satisfied with them.

Very stylish shoe. Runs true to size. This shoe has a mesh top and offers very little support. Can only be used on walking/running on flat surfaces. I’ll probably use for working out.

Comfortable and flexible shoe. The toe box is a very flexible non supportive fabric, feels like a sock, which keeps these from 5 stars.
