Works well.
It's well made and it is extremely quiet on low loads but can get a little louder as it ramps up, but 90 % of the time it's very quiet. I love the cables it came with. They where the perfect size for the case I was using so it made cable management a breeze.

Mighty power in a small package
I'd been looking for a power supply to for itx case. Did realize there were so many different sizes. Popped this went in and it was perfect. And the completely module cables actually made a big difference. It's very nice, small and compact but definitely very powerful for its size.

Perfect size for the Jonsbo D32 Pro mATX case
It is expensive. Fantastic size for the Jonsbo D32 Pro mATX case with a Gigabyte B550i Aorus Pro AX motherboard. There’s plenty of space to connect the cables. The length of the cables minimizes redundancy. There is an adapter for easy installation in the ATX PSU opening. It is almost noiseless.

Great value, very quiet.
Great value, very quiet power supply. My pc build only requires half of the possible output of this power supply so that may be one reason why I do not have any complaints about the fan noise. It fit perfectly in my Cooler master NR200p build. Modular cables are a must in smaller cases and will note that these cables were a bit stiff but I didn’t have any issues with getting them to make the required bends.

Decent but overpriced in my opinion as most Form factor parts are.
The Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold packs a serious punch in a miniature package, but is it the perfect PSU for your mini-ITX build? Let's dive in: Powerhouse in a Pint-Sized Package: 850W of juice makes it suitable for even the most power-hungry builds, from high-end CPUs to RTX 3080s. 80+ Gold efficiency keeps energy waste and your electricity bill in check. Compact SFX form factor fits snugly in mini-ITX cases, leaving room for your other components to shine. Whisper-Quiet Cooling: (mostly) FDB fan spins silently under normal loads, keeping your rig a tranquil oasis. Even under heavy pressure, noise levels stay surprisingly low, although some users report a noticeable hum. Modular Magic: ✨ Fully modular cables let you ditch the clutter and keep your case looking sleek and tidy. High-quality braided cables are durable and flexible, making installation a breeze. A Few Snags to Consider: Price tag reflects the premium performance and compact size, making it pricier than some non-SFX options. The included SFX-to-ATX bracket might be unnecessary for some mini-ITX cases and adds extra bulk. A couple of user reports mention coil whine under specific workloads, though not a widespread issue. Verdict: The Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold is a top contender for mini-ITX builders seeking top-tier power and quiet operation. Its compact size, high efficiency, and modular cables make it a dream for building clean and cool rigs. However, the premium price tag and potential for minor noise quirks might give budget-conscious or noise-sensitive users pause. In short: Get it if: You want the best power delivery and efficiency for your mini-ITX build, prioritize low noise, and appreciate quality craftsmanship. Skip it if: You're on a tight budget, can tolerate a bit more noise, or don't need the absolute power-house performance for your setup.

Horrible Fan Curve Destroys This Amazing PSU
So I finally found this SFX PSU after hunting the web forever looking to buy 750W+ SFX PSU, and Corsair are not available or at 5 times the price. I really liked this, from the design to build material and quality, I only put it in my PC couple of days later when I got my new GPU. I found this constant on/off high noise fan and was not too sure what it was at the beginning, until I found it was the PSU. It was so annoying and always ramping up and down even in browsing and general use, totally unbearable. I read some of the comments on reddit and heard about another version CM is making with out the semi-fan less feature, but it was not available anywhere, and some people said that CM refused to return their PSUs and stating this is normally, this is how the product supposed to preform, are you joking! this definitionally getting returned. until they make a fixed version of it or I found a corsair one, defiantly do not buy this!

Tiny powerful power unit
Very impressed because I put this unit in my fractal Terra. Ensure if you’re building a fractal Terra, you attach the wires first and then put the unit inside of the fractal terra. Very quiet and does the job excellently definitely recommend.

We will see how long it holds
My pc would start and almost immediately shutdown, a sign of a bad supply. I installed this one and my pc boots right up. I like that this one has a 10-year warranty as my previous one only lasted 6 years. PS: make sure you use the included cables!

Short PCIE cables and UK power cord can’t be plugged into the wall
Received today the item and started to mount it on my pc, however the PCIE cables are really short, also the power cord head is way too small to be able and plug it into the socket. No ideea why.

Great psu for sff builds
I got this psu as part of a small form factor build - Aorus B550i, Ryzen 5 5600x, Sapphire Nitro 6700xt, Corsair 32GB RAM, and Sabrent 2TB (PCIE4) and Corsair 2TB (PCIE3) M2 drives, and a Noctua L9a cooler. This all fit into a Fractal Terra case and the PSU provides stable, clean power to all the components. The PSU itself is easy to mount, compact, and has clearly labelled connectors that tell you which end plugs into the PSU and which end plugs into your component. The labeling on the PSU case is also clear to minimize errors when you plug things in. The cable lengths are a bit long for a Fractal Terra. (if you're building in a mATX case, they should be fine). But for my build, I had to really compress the cables and tie them down to the spine to allow the Terra side panels to close. If possible, I would like to see shorter cable length options available when you purchase the PSU or have shorter cables included. I'd pay a bit more money to have that option for a cleaner look (and less stress on the cable). I don't expect too any issues with power load as my system will not be overclocked and at full draw on the CPU and GPU, should only be around 40-45% of the PSU max wattage.
