TROND Bolt 12500mAh Portable Charger External Battery Pack with Triple USB Outputs & 2.0A Input

I really like this charger, the only reason why I am giving it a three star is that there is a LED light next to where I plug in my charger, the light came on and there is no way to turn it off. There are no instructions on how to do this. I will eventually break the light because the charger is powerful and I don't want to send it back for that reason since I need a good charger. I wish the company will either do away with the light because the charger works really well.This is a follow up to my earlier review, I just found the Welcome Guide to my TROND charger and I must apologize for the last review because there is clear instructions on how to turn off the flashlight on the charger. The TROND charger is one of the best purchases I have made among the many chargers I already own. I feel a sense of guilt that my earlier review for the product was not an appropriate one for how well this charger works. I was able to charge my husband iPhone and my Samsung phone at the same time plus my iPad to charger my and it works like a gem especially on my last trip from Philadelphia to Tampa when my battery life on our phone was low. The charger is easy to carry around in my pocketbook or in my luggage, and it keeps all my devices working especially when I am traveling and cannot get to an outlet to charge my computer or devices. Thank you so much for this product and this company deserves a five star, I am a very, very happy that I made this purchase.Thank you for a well made product.

This item was recommended to me by a friend, she had said she loved it and that it was worth the $20! So I went ahead and bought one and for a little bit (like 2 months maybe?) it worked fine, no issues. Then I had two problems, one of the USB ports (the middle one) was not making a connection or taking a charge and the other problem was that the battery was not charging when I plugged it into a wall or car power source. This was past the 60 day cut off for amazon to exchange your product for you for free so I contacted the TROND company and they basically said they're really sorry and no problem we will be happy to ship you another one on behalf of the company/team (not amazon) for free. I thought, wow that's really nice of them and pretty hassle free for me! And the first thing that came to my mind was "this is great customer service" I would recommend this product or this company for that reason and my second battery is working great! No problems and it charges your device pretty fast. I also love that there's multiple USB ports as I have a Fitbit, iPhone, and kindle that I charge frequently! :)

I love this power pack. My husband and I started playing more Pokemon Go outside so we needed something to keep our phones charges. We are currently using 5ft Galaxy S5 specific cords from Getwow for our S5s and it works great, but note that it does depend on the cable because I first tried with a 6ft cable also specific for Galaxy S5 from AmazonBasics and it did not work at all but it will charge my phone if plugged into a wall. So the cable you use does matter. Other reviews complained about the size and weight and while I agree it IS big, it does the job for both our phones charging at the same time, even while playing Pokemon Go which usually doesn't charge fast if at all while plugged into a wall outlet. With a full charge and only charging 1 phone, it'll last more than 10 hours. With both our phones, probably 2. But I haven't tested 3 devices being charged at the same time. It does take awhile to fully charge (like ~8hours) so I usually do it overnight.Long story short, it's big, it's heavy, but it does the job right with the right cord/cable AND it last a long time if fully charged. Have had zero problems with it.

I bought this charger in December 2016 so it is well over 6 months and I'm writing this review. After about a month of owning it the 2 usb ports stop working and only one work. The one port still works today (June 4, 2017) and I can charge my phone (galaxy s7 edge) about 3.5 times out of one full charge of this charger even with the 2 usb ports not working. Also it no longer detects the phone when plugged in. I tried a few different phones to see if it would detect them but nothing. You have to click the power button on the charger either once or twice before it starts charging my phone. The flashlight still works 100% no issues with that. The leds still light up and flash like they did since day one. So, the 2 usb not working and pressing the button to start charging (I don't really mind this, as long it charges) is the only flaw I have found with this portable charger. It does take quiet a while to recharge (about 12 hours from completely dead). Just bad luck with the 2 usb ports. The usb ports is the reasons for the 3 stars and not 5. There are multiple times when I have to charge both my personal and work phone but I have learned to charge one then the other which makes this charger pointless to have 3 ports when only one works.Update: Today the last usb port gave up on me. I can still recharge the charger and the lights come on but it will not charge any of my phones. Tried all 3 usb ports. Tried 3 different phones (my work phone which is an iphone 7, and my galaxy s7 edge, and my girlfriend galaxy s8) and 3 different usb cables. I guess 6 months for $20 is not bad but i think I will look elsewhere because after a month of owning it 2 usbs stop charging and I had to use only one. 6 months later all of the usbs stop working rendering the device usless and have to throw it away.

I have another powerbank from Aukey that I currently use as a sort of battery backup for a couple of Raspberry PI's to ensure that in the event of mains power going off that the PI's still run (Home Automation). I can charge that pack as well as provide power at the same time. This is true of most high quality and modern powerbanks.I needed a third USB power slot for a new device so I bought this product, only to find that it turns off the output as soon as you apply power to the input. Therefore it is useless for my needs. As a backup charger for my tablet the capacity is too low and it can just about charge my tablet before it is completely drained.Will stick to Aukey in future.

Perfect for Pokemon Go! I have a very power hunger samsung S6 edge and this enables me to Catch Pokemon all day without a hint of battery drain. I can get 2 days very heavy use out of this with power to spare.On a recent camping trip this kept my S6 edge powered for the full 3 days and also charged my smartwatch too.It delivers a great charging output and I found that unlike some chargers it does actually charge as you use your device, check with your device and what input it can handle as some devices can't do this (particualrtly older devices). I can connect an iPad / smartphone and smartwatch and all will charge at a good rate.It takes about 4-7hrs to fully charge, it charges quickest using a fast charge plug.Really impressed with charger and I know a few people who have brought this based on viewing mine.

I bought this product based on the positive reviews - which you can see are a copy and paste across different products, so be careful!I used this product as soon as it got here. Thankfully with some juice in it. I managed to charge pretty quickly my phone and another device.Shamefully, the following day I put it to charge for about 12 hours, with no luck: the LEDs kept flashing and when finally I tried to use it there was no charge at all. Quite disappointing as I needed it for a long trip abroad.disappointed and will return for a refund.

Excellent charger.....reasonable price.....nifty little torch built in. The only thing missing is a little drawstring bag to put it in. Luckily, my daughter is a whizz with a sewing machine and she has made me a lovely little black velvet bag to keep it and the cable in.

This is a life saver for iphones which have huge issues with the batteries. I can get 6 full charges on my iphone 6. The charger goes from empty to full in a few short hours and charges my phone really quickly. Only downside would be the slightly larger size than I was expecting but that's the price to pay for such a good storage capacity! Great product.
