How to connect to alexa
Easy to connect in app but hard to connect to alexa. Thickness is good and your value of money is definitely good

They do not stay connected to the WiFi
I bought two sets of these, one for my mother’s home and another for my apartment. She couldn’t get hers to work properly, said they required reconnection to the Wi-Fi every few days. She won’t use them now because it’s become a hassle. At my place, it takes a while to get them to connect. It took adding the Magic Home skill in Alexa as well as connecting to the device’s unsecured connection before being able to connect it to the Wi-Fi in the Magic Home app. I’m amazed to read people thought this was an easy setup. It was a balancing act. Moving between screens, working in two different apps simultaneously just to link the devices, which had multiple unsecured network addresses to connect them. The Magic Home skill didn’t seem to have any use or effect in the end. Once connected, after ten minutes or so both plugs dropped off and became “unresponsive” before going “offline.” After that, the whole setup ordeal had to be repeated. Even after following instructions and troubleshooting according to their guidelines, none of my connections lasted longer than 10 minutes. This product is trash - and frustrating trash at that. I’ve disabled the skill, uninstalled the app, and the hardware is in the trash can. Never again with this brand.

Does what it should.
Great to use with Alexa. I recommend and I will buy more to make household items "smart".

Easy to set up. But large.
I am using these with a Google home setup. To set up with Google assistant download the app that's listed on the paper in the box. After you have the plugs set up through that click the button on the top left of that app then click 3rd party and it will show you how to set it up with a number of services including Google assistant. The only thing that isn't clear in the instructions is how to get to a button labeled home control. To do that on the Google home app click your icon in top right then click assistant settings then scroll down for a while. After that step everything is correct in the instructions. So far these work well and we're easy to set up. The only thing is they are large. If you have plugs that are stacked on top of each other or have a 2x2 plug youay lose access to one due to the size of these plugs. But I like them.

WiFi plug
I enjoy that it comes with two charging ports. Which is why I needed them for anyway. I love how you can tell Alexa to control them.
