No real black
NOT recommended. when the tv have a scene in black is not black. looks like someone is pointing a flash light in the screen. LG says this normal!"I have taken a look into this for you and can see that our Technical Team reviewed these images and have advised that this is light bleed. This is normal for LCD TVs as they have a gap for ventilation between the backlight and the screen. The settings LED local dimming is there to reduce this as much as possible which is in settings> all settings> picture > picture mode settings> picture options. Try each option (off, low, medium, high) and use the one that helps the most. They have advised that for this, this is only a fault if this is visible and affecting normal viewing such as BBC News not on black screens in a dark room and so they have advised the images sent in show this is within specification but if you believe it is not, please send in an image showing the TV on normal content e.g. BBC News not on dark scenes and in a room that is lit rather than dark and they can review this to see if this would be needing a repair. To send images you need to send them in a new query with us, not by replying to this."Normal colours are very good but if you are going to see a movie with dark scenes like a horror movie or science movie you lose.
