Good introduction
A fun game to introduce smaller children to electric circuits, and little bit to programming. Our 4 year old could build it on his own looking at the instructions.

Entry-level programmable electronics set
This programmable electronics set is aimed at children age 5 years and above. As other reviewers have commented, it is probably best suited for the lower primary school age. It would make a fantastic project for a parent and child to do together but, equally, a child could do on their own thanks to the enclosed instructions. This is an entry-level programmable electronic construction set that allows a child to become familiar with electronics. A child will be able to assemble one of 218 schemes, including a lamp, motor fan, music and doorbell. The straightforward nature of the connections and the clear description of what to do means that most children will be able to assemble the circuits without help, and the variety of the attached elements will also allow even a child with a little expertise in electronics to assemble something new and exciting. The kit has its own original way of joining parts and there is no soldering required; the results are almost immediate. 3 x AA batteries are required (not supplied). This kit is priced at £27.99 with a 7% voucher to apply (at time of review) which is quite pricey but it offers hours of structured and educational (STEM-based) play so I think that it is worth it. It would make an excellent present for a birthday or Christmas to a child with an interest in electronics. I am therefore happy to recommend.

Starter electronics for younger users
There are a panoply of kits like this on the market - click-together circuits to teach children the basics of electronics - and this, I would say was aimed at the younger end of the market: It contains circuits that make sounds, light up lights, a radio, a loudspeaker, a spinner, etc. It's fairly easy and intuitive to make the kit do something, for instance light up the Christmas tree and play the 'Merry Xmas' song at the same time, or but the kit stops short of being able to make more complex and maybe actually useful, , or experiment with logic gates. As the kits that do do that are about the same price as this one, and the quality of this product is only so-so, I might be more tempted to buy one of those. 3 1/2 stars.

Good circuit making kit for young children
This is a great STEM set for children I would say age 5-7 years. It is an entry level circuit building kit that has got features that are attractive to children such as a light up Christmas tree, little tunes, a fan plus lots of others. The parts included are chunky and easy to handle for smaller fingers. It comes with a very in depth instruction book that shows all of the different combinations. It is quite straight forward for a child to follow. It requires 3x aa batteries which aren’t included. It is a nicely made and put together kit that will keep children busy for a long time on many occasions.
