Works great for grinding grits and Chicken scratch out of the extra dried corn.

Complete junk
Very poorly cast metal product. The mounting area will not set flat on a table edge because of the terrible casting. The washer on the mounting screw is way too thin. It will fold under when you tighten the clamp. Very inconsistent grind of anything you put through it. DO NOT BUY this piece of junk, rather spend the extra money for a quality grinder.

cheap metal, but works
It is much harder to use than it looks like it would be by the description. I used it to grind popcorn, not dent corn which is harder to do, so that might be part of it. I had to take it apart and realign the grinding plate as it was crooked. For the price, it is worth it.

Item broken on arrival
I received my item yesterday morning it was broken and I'm wondering how to get it back

It will crack corn but not very well
This hand crank will crack corn but be aware it is not going to give you a uniform size. Some is crushed and other is just cracked. This will be fine for chicken feed but don't think you will get corn milled for cooking on your first try.

Perfect for an even grind, easier and faster that electric alternatives! Excellent product!
Works better than I had expected. It is basically a foolproof method for grinding a special feed for my chickens that only comes in one form. My chickens are a bantam type of chicken (Seramas) and the food is great for it's needed nutritional value but only comes as ball style pellets that are too hard for my very small chickens to eat comfortably/safely.This grinder is easy to adjust in terms of the output size and it's extremely easy to use. We had been using food processors previously and it was difficult to get an even grind, and just grind it in general. It also burned up one food processor so we decided to go with a more simple, old-fashioned system. There are no worries about burning up a pricier electric appliance.We were worried this option would be more time-consuming and/or labor intensive but it's actually easier and faster for our purposes. I love this grinder, I am amazed at how far it's exceeded my expectations.

Missing screws
It was missing on of the screw for adjusting the tighten of the flour. Fortunately, I had some in my tool box and could use it perfectly, besides that it looks like a good quality. the packages also was damaged, not sure if it was a new or return item, but happy with it so far.
