It is surprisingly powerful.
I was skeptical of a battery powered miter saw, but after using it to build several work benches I'm a believer. Well worth the price.

Impressive, but still needs a few more tweaks to make it perfect...
Really cool lightweight and portable -- that is what I wanted -- instead of hauling my heavier bulkier miter saw I have in my workshop.I was very surprised how clean the cuts are made with the included saw blade. No tear out at all. Nice! -- I feel the faster RPM speed is what makes the difference!Things that I would like the company WORX to improve on to make it worthy of a 5 star review:1) They should not use a vinyl/paper sticker material for the miter scale (angle gauge). They should have it laser etched or stamped on the metal or aluminum surface -- that to me was a really huge disappointment.Because as time goes by, with wood dust and even outdoor work environments (humidity or even human sweat), it will eventually peel and you won't have a miter scale to read and etc. Also if you later update this miter saw, make sure the miter gauge supports both miter and protractor angles.2) They should provide some #8 screw holes on the sides of the fence so we can add a wooden zero clearance fence for smaller sized projects. I will have to wait until the warranty is over to have to drill holes myself to customize that.3) Though I love how you added a feature to hold down the material when cutting (i.e. the precision-machined guide rails), I think if you try to incorporate a way to also add a stop block feature -- for repeated length cuts, that would be an ideal feature and perhaps quite unique from the competition out there as far as features go for miter saws. That's all I can think of for the moment, I've only been able to use it for one day. If more things come up, I will update this review, but so far, I'm very impressed!P.S. I also like that amazon offered a 5 payment plan, that makes it easier on some end-user with a limited monthly budget -- so thanks for that!UPDATE:Oh, I like that it also has two round pocket holes (1-3/8" / 34.925 mm depth) on the back of the fence, my guess to be able to use miter saw clamps on each side of the fence (one per side). From my own measurements (with a caliper), we simply need the miter saw clamps to have a shaft that is 5/8" diameter (i.e. .6250 decimals / 15.875 mm) to drop then into those holes. These two holes will help putting a stop block for some short length repeated cuts.

Very portable.
This product did exactly what I hoped it would do. Battery lasted longer than I thought too.

I love worx
Added this to my worx collection after it was delivered today. It's definitely not as powerful as your generic chop saw but what it lacks in power it makes up for in features and sharpness. The miter function allows you to cut large boards like 2x6 or 2x8. The blade is sharp, as long as your patient it'll cut and cuts clean. It's lighter than a corded chopper. There's a feature that allows you to hold whatever your cutting in place on both sides of the blade with just one hand, keeping your hands clear of the blade and keeping the end of what your cutting from falling or flying off. I think this will cut anything up to a 6x6 chunk of wood in one slice if the blade were larger. Very happy with it. It's just a accurate as any other chopper I've owned.Edit: ruined a blade because at 45 degrees it catches the rail. See photo

Very bad
Bought months ago and had been sitting in the box. Finally got it out to use. I have many many worx devices and love them all but this one is very bad. The teeth of the blade chewed up the plastic work surface before I opened it. The sliding mech is very unsmooth and will adversely affect your cut (shifts roughly left to right as you slide) power switch does nothing, device is always on ready to go even with switch off

Pros n cons
Pros:PortableHold bars are handyCons:Not powerful. Even cutting 2x4s requires sliding the bladd. Brushless motor is required for more power.Do not expect super clean cuts. Not suitable for furniture work.Due to the rack of power, you may experience kickbacks.Overall, not for professionals only for diyers who need portable miter saws for cutting lumbers such as 2Xs.
