Yauvanya Original Indian Kali Mirch (Black Pepper) Powder -100 GMS

The pepper is delivered inside a book type cardboard sleeve which easily fits through the letterbox. A stiff plastic pouch holds 100g of finely ground black pepper. I found the pouch difficult to open as it was very tightly sealed. When opened a lovely spicy aroma hit me. The pepper has a good spicy flavour and is not overpowering. Even though i use pepper a lot in cooking and on the table, 100g will last several months so it needs to be kept in an airtight container to preserve the freshness and flavour. The price is higher than what you would expect to pay in the supermarket but the flavour and amount of spiciness is very good.

I always like to have ready ground black pepper for the table so we can add it to our cooked meals. This is a finely ground product with a pleasant and noticeable peppery flavour. You only need a small amount. I am transferring a small amount to a salt and pepper set so it is fresh whilst keeping the remaining product in an airtight container. You can also add this to dishes whilst they are cooking. I’d say this is a premium product and for the quality the price is what I’d expect to pay.
