Good
I've tried other collagen mixes and this one was pretty good, especially since I do the keto diet. Only think is it's kind of clumpy when you first mix it in water, but eventually it dissolves and mixes pretty good after a while with stirring. Also, it's not too bad mixed with coffee.

Excellent Flavorless Collagen Peptide
I love a good collagen product and really enjoyed this one in particular! Perfect add to any smoothie, coffee, or beverage without changing the flavor.

Disliked
I didn't like that it didn't mix in very well. It was all on the bottom.

Dissolves well, but at a high price per oz
About six months ago, I was offered a free 10.58oz jar of Genius Gourmet Keto Collagen Peptides for review via the Amazon Vine Program, and I accepted.I've been using various brands of collagen peptides for over three years - mostly type I & III. I can't be 100% clinically certain, but collagen peptides seem to have done a lot of good for the health of my gut - so I'm definitely a fan.The Genius Gourmet Keto Collagen Peptides arrives in a resealable 10.58oz plastic jar. I prefer plastic jars over bags for collagen peptides as they offer the easiest, fuss-free usage as collagen peptides go airborne very easily. There is a fairly standard plastic serving scoop in the jar. This is a straightforward type I & III collagen peptides powder. It contains no other ingredients besides hydrolyzed bovine collagen. According to the label, this product is made from grass fed bovine. There is no information as to the nation of origin of the cattle, although the label does show "Product of USA." There are also no certifications as far as the manufacturing process or facility rating.Probably unlike most people who add collagen peptides to liquid for consumption, such as coffee, I tend to add them directly to my meals whenever possible. However, for the purpose of this review, I tested this Genius Gourmet Keto Collagen Peptides in both hot and cold liquids. It dissolved as quickly as some of the best, fastest dissolving peptides I've used in the past, such as Left Coast Performance , Sports Research or Orgain . Like most collagen peptides, it dissolves notably faster in hot liquids than cold. In my experience, all unflavored collagen peptides add at least some very subtle flavor, usually similar to a very, very weak salt. Contrary to it's claims, this is no exception, although it is better than most and adds almost no flavor. Depending on what you put it in, you may or may not be able to detect it, if that matters to you.In all honesty, I tend to purchase the cheapest collagen peptides I can per ounce and stock up when I see sales. There are huge price differences between various brands and aside from differences in they way they dissolve, I seriously doubt there is much actual difference in the efficacy at different price points when compared with other type I & III peptides. I am willing to pay a higher price for the more complete type I, II, III, V & X peptides. I try to get certified grass fed whenever possible and would never purchase *any* labelled to have *anything* to do with China. Ingredients from Brazil are okay, but the USA is preferred. As of the time of this review, this Genius Gourmet Keto Collagen Peptides is on the high side of what I consider to be a reasonable price for a type I & III collagen peptides supplement at $1.89 per ounce - a very high cost per ounce for a type I & III product. I've seen some good type I & III collagen peptides that I've used for as low as $1.09/ounce. I've seen others at well over $2/ounce and higher. Based on the price and how well it dissolves (very well), I'd give this four stars. And note that there are some EXCELLENT, more complete type I, II, III, V & X collagen peptides supplements that come in at about $1.50 per ounce compared to this simpler type I & III supplement, such as my current favorite Left Coast Performance Multi-Collagen . It is a type I, II, III, V & X collagen peptides supplement. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Biotin. It is a *much better* value with 90 servings per 2lb jar.

Very good collagen source. Not Vegan.
This is a very good source for collagen types I & III. A 10g serving yields 9g of protein (collagen), with a 30 day supply provided per container. It has the usual grass fed, gluten-free ingredients, while also being sugar-free.One important note is the product description states 'Vegan' which is categorically incorrect. I suspected this, based on the collagen ingredient being of bovine origination. So, anyone that follows a vegan diet (like my significant other), will not want this product.I would have assessed this product higher if it had some certifications for purity and standards of manufacture (like GMP, FDA registered, 3rd Party Tested). There are none of these types of certifications.I found this collagen product to have minimal flavoring. There is a faint taste if mixed in plain filtered water, but if mixed into coffee or another beverage, there is no perceptible collagen taste. Compared to other 'unflavored' collagen products, this powder has managed to effectively reduce that aspect.Photos are provided to show the actual size of the product, and the somewhat sparse supplemental facts. This product, based on the above considerations, earns a 3.75 - 4 star rating, with a moderate level recommendation.Again, note that this is not a vegan product.

Good
Serving - 1 scoop = Container 30 servingsAdded to homemade potato soup its not noticeable, the unflavored powder doesn't changenor add to the flavor of anything I've added it to.Good way to get collagen in hot or cold drinks / food.> The powder is easy to use and didn't upset my stomach.> The container didn't mention = but this tends to be stringy / or slightly lump in cold liquids. It blends well in warm / hot liquids. As with other collagen I've used > it's can be helpful to add first to room temperature water, then to the drink. (so as to not lump)This type I & 3 are supportive for skin health and elasticity.((( > type 2 which isn't here, is used for cartridge and joint health )))HYDROLYZED = broken down in more easily dis-solvable amino acids.-------------------Seems a standard size scoop = 1 1/2" dia - 1" deepContainer 6" tall - 4" dia + and filled only half full. (bottom 3" of the container)

Not vegan.
The title states vegan but the ingredient is bovine (cow) collagen...? Am I missing something or is vegan just a search phrase catch for this product?I do use their products and my main interest is keto, which this is and is great...But my wife prefers vegan products when possible and was disappointed in the fact.Tasteless, as promised. Blends well and is a fine powder. 3 stars because of the misleading title. Would be less if I was really concerned about being vegan. Would be 4 if title was correct.
