They work and the fussy cat eats them.
They work and the cat likes them. Not cheap but specialist food never is and still cheaper than elsewhere. The only issue I have is stopping the other cat, (who doesn't have CKD) and the dog also from eating them!

Great for cats on a renal diet !
My cat loves it !! This review is on behalf of my cat as I haven’t personally tried the biscuits ! however these are the only renal biscuits he will eat at the moment which is a blessing seeing as he’s in a special diet. Five stars 🌟 from Binx 😻

Using as treats for Early CKD cat
My cat just got diagnosed with early CKD. Stage 1 IRIS. I am only using this as treats in her puzzle toys! Which she loves! It's hard finding treats that are low Phosphorus. The vet says both are ok in moderation. My kitty likes these! I'm not a fan of the ingredients at all, but science keeps proving that this food will extend the life of your poor baby with CKD. I recommend trying it, since you can get 400g bags. The pellets are little, so find for older kitties with sore mouths. Bless your baby x I hope you find a good food they enjoy soon. I know how hard this is.

My elderly cat loves them
These are for my 16 year old black cat, she's been very unwell & she loves her biscuits so these are the best option, I think she prefers them. The little cat tries to steal them but she won't let him have them. They aren't cheap but they are worth it especially if your cat is like mine ones who enjoy the biscuits.

Ich habe seit einigen Jahren nur noch Nassfutter gefüttert (ohne Zucker und ohne Getreide), trotzdem hat mein Kater jetzt schlechte Nierenwerte, Bauchspeicheldrüse war beim Tierarztbesuch auch nicht in Ordnung. Er hat Infusionen bekommen und frisst seitdem wieder. In der ersten Woche habe ich ihm nur das Renal Nassfutter von Royal Canin gegeben, was ihm guttut (andere Sorten sind ihm im Magen gelegen), aber er hat kein Gramm zugenommen. Seit einer Woche bekommt er zusätzlich das Early Renal Trockenfutter, und der Kater hat in wenigen Tagen 200 Gramm zugenommen! Er war nur noch Haut und Knochen, weshalb ich schon am verzweifeln war, weil er von Nassfutter alleine einfach nicht zunehmen wollte. Da mein Kater es gut verträgt, regelmäßig frisst und wieder zunimmt, werde ich es weiterhin füttern. Zusammen mit SUC ging es jeden Tag bergauf, so darf es weitergehen. Ich habe schon vor Jahren mal medizinisches Futter von Royal Canin gefüttert wg. Giardien, und habe damit nur gute Erfahrungen. P.S.: Lasst euch nicht von Bloggern und selbsternannten Experten nicht verunsichern, die euch von Nierenfutter abraten. Wenn Tierärzte spezielles Futter verordnen, dann weil sie langjährige Erfahrung mit kranken Tieren haben und wissen, dass es den Patienten hilft.
