True to every word! Very good and on point information that every Judoka instructor, coach, and parent should read. I am very fortunate as a young coach to have Sensei Roosa now attending our club.

Even though, this small instructor’s handbook is oriented for those interested in teaching judo, the topics are helpful for anyone interested in learning this martial art. There is good information especially for beginners to evaluate the instruction he/she is receiving among other very good topics. The book is clear, short, and helpful.

This a great book to guide the student-to-instructor transition.
