This little welder is such a labor saver!
I have a very heavy duty Lincoln welder that is very big and heavy, and needs 220 V to operate. It's great but way overkill to do smaller welding jobs. THIS little baby can run on 110 V which I can't tell you how convenient that makes it for me. I have wanted to buy a smaller welder for years. Wish I pulled the trigger sooner. Speaking of triggers, this machine is incredibly smooth operating as far as the wire feed/trigger touch. It has the option to use shielding gas too. I can't comment much on the welding helmet that comes with it because I use the one I had already with special lens for my vision issues and auto darkening. This is an incredible value. I can't believe someone can MAKE a MIG welder at this price point! My BBQ grill hood handle kept getting loose and the screws were rusty and stripped on me. I plugged into my deck outlet and put down a few little welds, 5 minute repair. I needed a cymbal clamp to be very specific, to reach to a certain spot on my kit. I welded two different pieces together to get the reach I needed that nobody else sold. This little fab job was so easy with this welder.-It's lightweight (for a welder!)-It's extremely affordable. I paid MORE for my soldering station than I did for this.-It is extremely efficient. I thought all my lights would dim lol-This is a GREAT first welder to tinker and learn with! Always wanted to learn? Get one and start laying down some beads. Much easier than learning stick welding.-This was designed for 110 V ALTERNATING current and it was done right. AC on welders, well I won't get technical but it can cause some issues with the welds, porosity, etc. This is designed to work with the .30 flux core wire. I don't know how they did it, but it's right.-Add an argon tank (or CO2), Nice that this has that ability.-Portable, like really portable. I hooked this up to a little generator I had and it worked fine. I used to ride quads and dirt bikes in the middle of nowhere. I wish I could have had this then. With a small gen and this, could be very useful for a quick remote repair when something broke. Nice to have at a construction site for those little unforeseen needs too.Two thumbs up!

So much nicer than my last MIG welder
First off, I'm a beginner hobbyist. However, I had help from someone with training. My friend helped me pick the welder. He was impressed by the features, quality, and low cost, too. This welder is so much nicer than the last one I bought for about the same price. First, this has a gas option. Of course, that gives much nicer welds vs. flux core. But, you can still do flux core, of course.Second, it's very light and compact. That makes it easy to stow and travel with the welder.Third, the welder cabinet is metal and very sturdy. It's built really well. The cabinet door fits snuggly and doesn't rattle. The welds were consistent. The wire feed is easily adjusted and keeps up with welding speed.Being dual-voltage, it's easy to find power, making it even more portable. The kit includes a basic mask you fold together, and a basic wire brush. You'll want to buy a mask that suits your needs anyway. The gas connector is barbed instead of a quick-connect or thread on connector. If you're traveling with the welder the connector might be a problem.

Best for thin material
Welder works pretty decent on thin material. When you turn up the current and turn up the wire speed the wire speed just can’t really keep up. When welding on lower setting for thinner materials you still have to keep the wire speed set on 1/2 way up. I bought mine on sale so I can’t complain but if I had paid full price I wouldn’t be as happy.

Best welding machine to purchase!
Due to COVID19, I've been taking up a lot of home improvement. I wanted to do some repairs to some of my home, fix some patio furniture, but I didn't have any experience with welding. I did a lot of research and I found that this welding device is the best way to go. Not only is it good for a beginner like myself, but it is a pretty good price too.I did have to buy some flux core wire, but that was it. It came with a welding mask! The device is lightweight and portable, so it was easy to move around my house while doing repairs. Of course, I need to practice a lot more, but I admit, it's pretty fun to use this welding machine. If you're looking for a welding machine that's well priced, reliable, easy to use, and puts down good welds, this is is something you need to get!

Easily Portable
I bought the MiG welder as I was looking for something portable and this welder is light weight and contains a soft handle for easy transport. The machine is easy to use and convenient to carry. It is a powerful and Rugged MIG Welding Machine up to 120 Amp Output. The machine makes it easy to read the numbers on the scale and provides clean and solid welds. Accepts .8-1.0mm fluxed core wire and comes with an eye shield for protection. Highly recommend as it provides quality welds, is easy to use, and transports with no problem.

Under $200
Budget restoration on my 73 Chevy pick up. I wanted a cheap meg welder that I could run .023 wire. right out of the box. I had to flip the drive roller, hook up gas, test a little bit on some scrap. And off I went. Easy set up. Runs a nice bead. With a little practice, you can weld with this. I have a little experience with welding. Mostly stick. This is my first meg welder that I’ve owned but I’ve used friends in the past. Well worth the under $200 I spent. The picture on Amazon shows a euro connector for the torch. This model has a hardwired torch. I was a little disappointed about that. What do you expect for less than $200? Glad I bought it.

Got what I wanted
Didn’t want to break the bank on a mig welder and this little unit works. Only drawback is that all the cables and torch assembly are anemically short.

some cosmetic issues, but welds very well
I just took this out of the box. the welding mask is broken and the handle is completely useless. furthermore there is paint? or something all over the wire. I haven't powered it up yet and I'm not sure if I should. the packing Styrofoam was completely smashed on one end, and i mean literally destroyed, like this fell from a significant height. one star until I try it and see how well it works.update. aside from the cosmetic issues, this thing welds very well. I'm now very pleased with it.
