The bulbs work fine - longevity will be determined. So very much cheaper than the hardware or big box store.

We weren't able to find these at the local big box hardware stores. We found them with a electric supply house, but they wanted so much for shipping it was ridiculous! Glad we found them on here for the same price without having to pay HUGE shipping fees. A reliable brand with a history of doing a great job. The lights were bright!

I have an extensive landscape with over a dozen of these lamps. I asked my lighting contractor about replacing the halogen lamps with LED lamps as they burned out. I was advised to swap all the lamps to LED at the same time. The imbalance in wattage between the halogen and LED lamps would play havoc on my transformer. A blown transform is over $400.00 to replace. Replacing all 15 lamps with LED would cost me about $225. At the current price, I can buy 26 replacement halogens. Given I replace about 2 a year. That gives me 13 years before I’d break even. There is no advantage.

My previous bulb of this type lasted for over 5 years so I replaced it in kind. It's working great so far and the price was reasonable.

Great product, only problem I had to return 2 bulbs as they were cracked and unusable. Probably broken during delivery process

After a terrible experience with another brand I found on Amazon (no longer available I think), I decided to go with the Philips. I put them in a month or so ago and no problems yet - a good sign since the last set failed immediately. These are on the pricey side but if they last it will be worth it.

Great outdoor light that last many years. Easy to install and arrived quickly

Works as expected. No trouble connecting, illumination good, and bulb/packaging was fine upon arrival.
