Does what it's supposed to do and at half the cost

Gasket surface was machined wrong causing leaks, manufacture defect.
I installed this a few weeks back, followed online directions, torqued the bolts to spec and everything. Within a day it was leaking from the gasket surface on the back of the pump. I pulled the pump and found there was machining imperfections on the gasket surface. I measured tool marks and they were between .003" and .006" ridges. I held a straight edge on the area and you could see light under it. I ended up buying new gaskets and sanding down the surface a bit to reuse the pump as I didn't have the luxury to sit and wait for a replacement. Check the surfaces before installing yours so you don't have go through the trouble that I did, or just buy from another seller and save yourself the hassle.

Thermostat was damaged. Water pump good!
After replacing the water pump vehicle was still heating up. I checked my fan and fan relays, replaced all hosed and at the end it was my thermostat that had gotten stuck. After I removed it the truck normalized.
