I bought this puzzle for a client with dementia. It was the perfect size for her to see the pictures and to hold in her hand we really enjoyed this puzzle little expensive for the size as a whole but overall nice puzzle

This is a really nice puzzle setup. You do it right in the tray/box bottom. The pieces are super sturdy, not cardboard but maybe plastic. Four stars bc of the high price.

UPDATE: Replacement is perfect, has great purpose. A suggestion is to only use the outer pieces if it is too overwhelming for a person to start from scratch. This approach has made this much more fulfilling for my momPrevious review: Before ordering I saw numerous reviews mentioning a missing piece. I figured it was random out of hundreds of puzzles sold. I ordered my bird puzzle for my mother and the left corner piece is missing. How long is it going to take this manufacturer to put a Quality Control check in before they mail out their product.? It would seem cheaper for the company to do a quality check before sending out because now they have to send me another one through Amazon replacement tomorrow. Anyway I think that the product is good and deserves 5 STARS But because the company is being lazy and not checking that all the pieces are there before selling I gave them one star because that is a waste of effort and waste of transportation fuel, packing paper, which hurts the environment.

This was a really nice puzzle. The puzzle box arrived in a plastic mailing bag, and one corner of the puzzle box was crushed just a little. When I opened the puzzle to help my son work on it today, I saw that the corner puzzle piece (at that same corner) was damaged a little too. It certainly isn't a lot of damage, but for a puzzle that is relatively costly, it would be nice if it were to arrive in prime condition. I had thought I would order more if he liked this one, but now I'm a little nervous about ordering again.

With dementia, she loved it❤️

The pieces are easy to pick up. It took about an hour to put together. You must have patience and try to let him/her figure out where the pieces go and maybe give a hint here or there. We did a high five from time to time which gave so much confidence to the person putting together the puzzle.

These puzzles are great for people to with Alzheimer's. The puzzle can be assembled in the box it comes in with the picture of the puzzle on the inside of the lid. The peices are large and vividly colored making it a lot easier to assembleI highly recommend these puzzles and am planning to buy more

My mother in law needed something to keep her occupied during lockdown and this was ideal. She loved the design, and although she doesnt have dementia it helped with the larger pieces with her eyesight and also brought some nostalgia with it ! Only down side was the cost as I bought her 3 and found them to be expensive but this is in general. They all seem to be priced in the same bracket whoever the seller. Having said that they were good quality.

These puzzles are fabulous for dementia sufferers. Still has an adult feel but let's them complete in their own time and have a sense of achievement. My dad loved puzzles and always completed 1000 pieces, he struggled with the 64 piece and got frustrated. This he could do and then with confidence has built to the 64 piece puzzles.

Nice quality jigsaw and liked it came in a strong opening box you can build the jigsaw in. My only gripe was the price. I thought it was a little expensive. Researched ordering direct but would have had to pay the postage/delivery on top so opted for Amazon and spent over £20 for free delivery

My mother’s eyesight is fast failing so initially she was able to complete this puzzle which has large ,sturdy pieces .Then she needed help because the pieces are durable and her failing eyesight at age 87 meant she had trouble putting the pieces together .It’s a nice nature picture of birds so we counted the birds and talked about the different species .

The picture and the clever design of the box make this a brilliant buy for my mum who is 92 and suffers from Vascular Dementia. The 35 pieces fit perfectly in the frame like base of the box whilst the folded top shows the picture to be copied. Now I know what to order for mum in future.
