THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST ALBUMS EVER

The CD sounded good for the most part. The SOAD sticker on the front (that i tried to take off..for some reason) kind of ripped the cd case. I was also a little disappointed that the CD case was paper, but thats just a personal problem. Overall, its AMAZING!!! :3

I can't think of any other band that sounds like these guys. They are truly unique and although I don't like everything that they do, there is certainly a lot of talent to be found here. The music combines elements of Nu-metal, progressive rock, and Zappa-ish mayhem. Some of it is funny, some serious and some just plain over the top. Lead vocalist Serj Tankian has an almost operatic voice that is very different from anyone else I can think of out there. The band remind me a bit of The Mars Volta at times, although SOD's music is more blunt and to the point. Highlights include "Attack", "Kill Rock N Roll", "Lonely Day", and "Soldier Side". This is a band that I have to be in the right mood to listen to, and I kind of have to take them in small doses, but there is no doubt that SOD are one of the more unique bands in mainstream rock today.

great CD, i love system of a down so much and i was super excited that i could find hypnotize for a good price! includes lyric book with some super cool images! nice packaging and the CD quality is crystal clear.

Toujours ce mélange de riffs lourds, de rythmiques rapides et de chant parfois lyrique. Regorge peut être de moins de hits que certains autres albums mais très bon quand même.
