Great Upgrade for a Budget Price
This keycap set is a surprisingly solid upgrade that brings some serious flash to your setup. While it’s a great value overall, there are a few things to consider depending on your keyboard model.Pros:Solid Construction: The keycaps feel durable and well-made—not flimsy or cheap.Great Fit (Mostly): They fit snugly on a standard-sized keyboard with no wobble or misalignment.Stylish Aesthetic: The transparent design really makes RGB lighting pop, giving your keyboard a bold, upgraded look.Simple Installation: Most keys pop right on without issue.Hidden Switches: The design makes the lighting more visible while still concealing the mechanical switches—a nice touch if you’re not into the exposed switch look.Cons:Compatibility Limitation: If you’re using a Razer BlackWidow Elite, the "Fn" key and the adjacent one won’t fit correctly. This is a known limitation, so double-check your layout before buying.Larger Keys Require Extra Work: For bigger keys like the spacebar or shift, you'll need to carefully remove the stabilizer clips from the old caps and transfer them. They’re glued in, so a flathead screwdriver and a bit of patience are needed. Conclusion:If you’re looking to give your RGB keyboard a flashy upgrade without spending a fortune, this set is a fantastic option. Just be aware of possible compatibility issues with certain layouts, and be prepared to do a little extra work on the larger keys. Otherwise, it’s an easy, high-impact upgrade that looks awesome.

Cute and clear keys!
The media could not be loaded. Was in search of clear/see through keys that would show the backlights better, decided on these! So far so good however my only “con” is that some keys did not fit next to the space bar and number pad areas, so I had to improvise and use other keys for those certain areas, which worked and is holding up so far so good. Recommend these keys, but check if they’re still 100% compatible before buying! 👍🏾👍🏾

Love the look, and they fit the Apex Pro
I had worn out the keys on my old Apex Pro. The nubs for home keys are completely worn off, and the tops are polished with wear. This GSkill set are great looking caps (subjective, I know), but they remind me of an old school typewriter a bit. They are the only set of 3rd party caps I have found that actually fit correctly on the Apex Pro. Some of the others that were reported to work did not for me, having issues with any of the stabilized keys (space, enter, shift, etc.). Maybe it's because my Apex Pro is from 2021 and they work on newer Pros? Whatever the case, these fit well and have no issues. They are absolutely gorgeous with RBG enabled, and they feel decent to type on. The edges are a bit harder than I'm used to but that is part of the look. There are only two issues I have with these caps: 1. the build quality is not consistent. For example there are several dimples on the top of the D key of my set and several of the caps have the letter raised more than on others to the point where you can feel it quite a bit. 2, the sound is 'clacky' compared to the stock keycaps. I assume that is due to the material used for the clear bases, and sound is very subjective so you might love the sound. I'm not docking any stars for that, it's just not a great sound to my ears.1 star docked for the inconsistent build quality, but I'm keeping them because they brought new life into my old Apex Pro and they look incredible.

There is no Fn key.
The media could not be loaded. As a bonus, if you fail to slide out the keys from the package, you get your own little puzzle!😹 It's a good thing I had the back of my original keyboard box as a cheat sheet ⌨There is no Fn key, but whatever. The spacebar is higher than I am accustomed to, but I have been using the same older (made in 2002) keyboard for 8 years, so this could be perfectly normal for a spacebar. Anywas I propped up the "feet" on the back of this new keyboard so everything is perfectly fine. These keycaps are amazing,

Great! But a couple of things to be aware of...
I received these today, and I have to say that for the most part I like them. The different colors on my mechanical keyboard really shine through, making for a truly unique experience. However, there are still a couple of things to note before purchasing.First, depending on the type of switch you’re using there will be a noticeable difference in the sound quality. In my case, I am using a mechanical keyboard with blue switches (see the photo done in daylight for clarification). Usually, there is a loud ‘THOCK’ sound- though some prefer the term ‘CLACK’- when pressing the keys. The thock sound is actually what one hears on the release of the key, but I digress (LOL). Due to the fact that I can’t use all 104 keys because of the way the keyboard itself is configured, the difference in sound quality is more pronounced between the original keys and those with the new keycaps on them. For some, it may not register and that would be great. However, I am both a writer and musician, so I can tell that the sound is a bit more muted when pressing on the clear caps. Again, not a noticeable thing to some, and might even be pleasant to their ear, but to mine not so much. The second thing to note is that these caps will not fit on a mechanical-FEELING keyboard. Yes, I have one of those as well, and there is definitely a difference. In fact, I originally bought these to jazz up that keyboard, which also has the RGB colors I love. Although mildly saddened that they wouldn’t fit, I still counted it as a win because they were a perfect fit for the mechanical. All in all, I’m still going to give this product a five star rating because the quality of the caps are quite good, and definitely sturdy. I didn’t have to worry about breakage when handling or pressing down on them to place. So no, I’m not returning them. In fact, I already have another keyboard in mind to use them on, which has red switches. Still a clack, but more in line with how these keycaps actually sound so any slight difference shouldn’t be as noticeable as it is on this keyboard. However, I felt I should leave this review for a fellow ‘blue switch’ user, who perhaps craves a stronger sound when typing for long periods of time. For me, it’s one of the most motivating things in the world when crafting novels.Happy Typing/ Gaming!
