Too sheer

Dupe for MAC Freckletone
I bought this lipstick b/c I had read that this was a great dupe for MAC's freckletone lipstick. I am an NC42, and was looking for a nice fleshy nude. This is pretty close to freckletone, but with more of a pink undertone. It glides on smoothly, and is quite moisturizing for a lipstick. I do love this color, and it looks great on my warm caramel skin tone.

Creamy and soft without feeling oily or gross. I really like the entire color range of this brand of lipsticks. They are a bit sheer and most are faintly shimmery but not to a noticeable degree. Kinda orange compared to picture/swatch, but not overly so. Definitely recommended more for warm medium skin tones.

Smells like chemicals
Super weird and oily. Smells like strong chemicals. I wiped off immediately before it melted off my lips. Also it’s super unflattering. Like it’s literally not cute. I’d stick pins in my eyes before wearing that lipstick. Not to be dramatic or anything lol. But thanks for the fast shipping. That’s one pro

Perfect wear to work lip color
A staple in my makeup bag. The color is sexy and looks great on darker skin. Very moisturizing. I like Nyx better than a lot of my MAC lipsticks. Great brand

Waxy, Chapstick
Color Pumpkin spice, this was highly recommended by the written reviews. It is was recommended for light olive skin. I had to scrub this on to get a barely there color payoff. It is very waxy, like putting on chapstick. It has absolutely no staying power, it was gone within an hour. I am considered a clear spring skin tone, dark hair, turquoise eyes, light olive skin. The color I was able to get wasnt flattering at all. This also has a perfumey taste to it. I had hope I would really like this color and brand, that's a big No! Glad it wasn't too expensive. Waste of my hard earned money

didn't like the product. smears all over ur lips. will stick with mac although much more expensive
