I have to say that l generally hate any protein shake. I got this from Kroger for 20$ and it is amazing. I add 1 scoop with almond milk vanilla unsweetened and ice. Delicious!!! 😋🤤

Great product, however-I would recommend mixing it in your other protein shakes or other ingredients. This product on its own is not that tasty.

Tried this product for the first time, wanting a vegan non whey protein that tasted better than Vega brand. I like the taste of whey protein better or the formulas it is sold in anyway. That said, I can't have whey anymore and for all those who are like me, this is a good choice if you plan to mix in smoothies. The vanilla is subtle, it is not sweet making this powder virtually undetectable in a smoothie blender drink but I did my first taste test plain with almond milk and honestly it tasted like playdough. Not totally terrible but definitely not appetizing or pleasant. But, it doesn't have the strange bitter aftertaste that Vega has so there is that. For those who said it is sandy or gritty, I'm perplexed. It actually mixes fairly smooth in almond milk (I just mixed with a fork today no blender). I didn't find it Sandy or gritty but there are globs that just won't mix down into the drink if you don't use a blender of some kind. In my first taste test *without* blender, just straight almond milk and protein... In between thick globs it was a smooth and creamy texture but I did not enjoy the taste. I added a sprinkle of cinnamom and gulped it down so not awful but not something I want to do every day. Second test, added it to a spinach)/fruit smoothie made in the nutribullet blender and I do miss a bit of the sweetness I am used to with whey but the texture is nice and smooth/creamy. Not gritty at all. No odd aftertaste. Pro Tip: the instructions say add one level scoop to 250ml water or liquid of choice. It will be SO thick and almost undrinkable if you don't add more than recommended 250ml liquid. The scoop is quite big. I doubled liquid. This protein powder is good for people for who "raw organic vegan" is important. If you want something sweeter and more flavoured or something you'll Love the taste of on its own with water or almond milk you may want to choose a different brand. If you want subtle/undetectable flavour with great quality ingredients and no sweeteners sugar or chemicals this is a solid option. My 4 stars are mainly for quality of ingredients and because it seems unfair to award only 3 stars when other vegan protein powders don't really taste better. If compared to whey protein powders on taste I'd have to give 3.

Really like this one, it was tested for heavy metals and apparently is very good on that scale. Makes me feel good and tastes good in smoothie

Great protein powder, vegan, raw ingredients and 21g of protein per scoop. I can’t really speak to the taste, I put mine in my morning smoothie with Kale, Frozen Berries, & Oat Milk. However, I think the vanilla does add a nice undertone flavour though. I try to watch for it to go on sale, which it does often, and I stock up. The regular price, 49.99 is not a bad price for the product you are getting. I have found this in a local grocery store, they were selling for 59.99. I’m happy with the price for the quality product, especially when it goes on sale!
