An absolutely brilliant torch
The Wurkkos DL30 Diving Torch is a fantastic product that exceeded all my expectations. I recently used this when I was out hiking and was blown away by its performance. The 3600 lumens of bright light provided excellent visibility, and the neutral white light color was perfect for viewing the woodland that I was exploring. The build quality of this torch is impressive, and the IPX8 waterproof rating meant that it was completely unaffected by any rain. The included 21700 battery and charger made it easy to recharge the torch for my next outdoor adventure, and the battery life was exceptional, lasting for several hours on a single charge. The torch is also easy to operate, with a simple rotating switch that allows you to adjust the brightness and switch between different modes. The compact size of the torch makes it easy to handle and maneuver when multi-tasking, and the wrist strap ensures that you won't lose it.Overall, I can confidently recommend the Wurkkos DL30 Diving Torch to anyone looking for a high-quality and reliable torch. It's a product that delivers on its promises and will undoubtedly enhance your hiking experience. If you're looking for a powerful, durable, and easy-to-use dive torch, then the Wurkkos DL30 is the perfect choice for you. I have attached photos of the torch being used in my back garden for you to see how bright it is.

Fantastic very bright and compact torch perfect for scuba-diving.
Very bright and well manufactured torch. Been using Wurkkos for 3 years now diving in cold UK waters at depths of 30+ m. Thus far had no issues. Brought the DL40 as my first Wurkkos torch and have since used the DL70 and DL30. 40 and 70 are similar with both boasting extremely bright top settings. Battery life lasts two 1 hour dives if not using top brightness. Beam rivals and often far supercede more expensive dive torches used in my club, with a clear bright white light. The DL30 is very compact and perfect as a back up light (I prefer the twist switch on it as it does not turn on accidentally), whilst still packing a punch. Highly reccomend Wurkkos to everyone looking for a first diving torch.

Great brightness, ok distance, average battery life.
I purchased two dive lights for a diving trip to Greece recently. A Sofirn SD05 and this Wurrkos DL30. My dive buddy was borrowing my Sofirn SD05 which has a supplied 4000mah battery and produces a claimed 3000 lumens. My Wurkkos DL30 has a supplied 5000mah battery and claims 3600 limens with a higher CRI rating and a warmer tint.Thoughts on the Wurrkos DL30:While I believe the claimed lumens when compared to other lights of a similar output rating, this compact powerhouse really is a compromise between flood and throw. With the three emitters it's fantastic for lighting up a larger area up close in clear water, but the light doesn't penetrate very far into the pitch black of a night dive.In the first pic you can see a screen capture from my Go Pro showing the high intensity hotspot of the Sofirn vs the Wurrkos (same factory by the way). The deep reflector and single emitter of the Sofirn really penetrates through the water while the Wurrkos struggles past 10-15 feet in clear water (both used at full power the entire dive)In the second pic I uploaded with this review you can see my dive buddy illuminated by the Wurrkos, but not by much. She's about 10 feet from me with a black wetsuit on and about 2 feet from the white sand below her.Issues: The claimed runtime on full power for the Wurrkos DL30 is around one and a half hours. After going through the recording on my Go Pro, there was a blink and a significant step down in power around the 40 minute mark which was not ideal (likely the battery going rather than overheating as it's water cooled at this point!). The dive lasted 52 minutes and the Sofirn SD05 was still going strong at full power even with 1000mah less in the tank. Full charge was confirmed on both batteries twice by two different chargers prior to the dive.Another issue was the 'OK' signal underwater between divers. You simply use your torch to make a circle on the floor, rock or around the diver to ask if they are OK then wait for a response. Not once did anyone respond to my OK request due to the lack of a hotspot most likely. However I responded every time to the request of the diver using the Sofirn SD05. Diver awareness could have also been a contributing factor. Both lights survived 103 feet below the surface with no issues of leakage or moisture entering inside. The Wurrkos DL30 rotating switch started out feeling quite gritty compared to the smoothly rotating switch on the Sofirn SD05. This has improved a little with use and didn't interfere with functioning underwater. Conclusion: Get the Sofirn SD05, it's a more practical light even though the colours don't pop as much compared to the Wurrkos DL30. I'll now be using the DL30 as a backup.

It does what you need
Great little torchPurchased one to have a look at the quality, was surprised so bought another one, just back from a weeks Diving and they performed perfectly, depth used was around 30m and the 3 different power levels worked well.On a low viz dive it was great to be able to power down the torch to see better due to a storm the night before.Good piece of kit.

There's better options on the market
It was my first ever purchase of a dive torch, and so did't want to spend too much money, but looking back it was a mistake. It's a powerfull underwater light, but because of that it's also very heavy and perhaps not the thing to take on holiday. It's also too powerful for diving in good visibilty on reefs etc, where a smaller torch would be better for looking into nooks and crannies. The magnetic switch doesn't have a "lock-out" function. You can switch between power settings by short pressing the button, and on a long press for switching off. Short press will turn the torch on again, and start at the previous setting of brightness... and there's the problem. It's far too easy to accidently switch on the torch. So you can't just throw it into you dive bag or the dive box on a boat as it can randomly switch on whilst out of the water draining the battery and potentially overheating. So the only solution is to twist the bottom of the torch to remove contact with the battery...then you jump in the water and realsie that the rear of the torch isn't fully screwed tight 😱It is of good quality machined aluminium, but I question the need to have the battery compartment threaded at both ends, adding to potential failure points.I kept the torch as a back-up, but In the end, after not that much use the magnetic switch popped out and got lost. It was out of warrantee, and Wurkkos wanted too much money for a replacement switch.... so now I have a very expensive paperweight.Pros: Cheap and powerfullCons: Weight, Size, and button operation, overall quality.

Piccolissima e potentissima.

Was nun? Abschreiben? HdE
