Tattle Tea Jasmine 1st Grade Green Tea, 2 Pound

The quality of the tea seems to be okay, and I'm sure this is a fine tea if you're a big fan of Jasmine flowers. I personally find their perfume to be painfully strong (the kind that triggers headaches), and if I realized that this tea was essentially a bag of Jasmine potpourri I would've passed on it. The Jasmine tea I'm used to has a much more subtle aroma which seems to come more from the leaves and stems than from the flowers (just a guess). I'm actually a fan of "flower tea" in general, but the strength of the perfume in this one is just too much. I'll try mixing it in with other teas, but won't be purchasing this again.

Extremely floral smelling! I love it! I think I saw some other reviewers complain about that but to me that is my favorite thing about jasmine green tea! That being said there is an extremely large amount in this bag. Which is perfect for me because I use it for kombucha so I use a great deal of tea. But for just a regular tea drinker I feel like it would lose it's smell and freshness before you'd gotten through even part of the bag. But if you need large amounts of jasmine green tea then this is for you! I'd recommend finding an air tight container to store it in, even if you are using large amounts. The fresher the better!

The aroma is strong but good. Although the resulting brew is light colored, I found that it is a bit heavy on the bitterness, it is prone to taking on cooked spinach flavors if left the water too long. Do not steep more than 2 minutes to avoid excess bitterness.Overall I would recommend. Good flavor and very affordable.

I replaced my usual "jasmine fancy" from Peets with this jasmine tea when Peets made the switch to a different purveyor. I am very happy with this replacement, especially at such a value (jasmine fancy was 8.95 for 10 oz). This is my second time ordering this tea and it won't be the last.

I opened this tea on arrival and made a pot of tea. I love it and cannot stop making more and more tea.The flavour is lovely and clean and refreshing. Just wait 3 minutes and strain off the leaves. I put my lovely thick tea cosy over the glass teapot once I 've removed the leaves and it keeps hot for an hour.I'm really amazed how good this tea tastes.I've tried many jasmine green teas and ,so far, this is the best.

Got this to try for my afternoon tea. I normally drink Twinning tea but this was much cheaper,. Thought I would give it a try. I am very pleased with the taste, texture is a rough cut so it kind of resembles the Twinning Gunpowder Green Tea. It saves me money over Twinning so I think this will be my afternoon tea in the future.

The tea leaves were of good quality. However, the taste of floral/Jasmine is too strong for me. I like Jasmine tea to be light on Jasmine and stronger tea. I wouldn't buy it again.If you like your Jasmine tea to be very floral taste, than this is the tea for you.
