Great entry into the VR world for the price and you can share!
Here is my thoughts on my google cardboard goggles. WOW!!!! So I had preordered the S7 Edge for my wife and I and couldn't wait a month to get our phones and VR Gear so, I had to get some google cardboard to see what this VR stuff is all about. My package arrived and I ripped it open! Yes I'm pumped about VR! Everything was in the package as described. 2 pairs of goggles with the NFC tags, magnets, and head straps. They also sent a piece of paper with all the instructions. After 10 minutes putting them together I was ready for my first YouTube 360 videos! All I can say is wow!!!! AMAZING! Very well worth the wait and the few dollars I spent on some cardboard. For the price its definitely worth it. Being that its made out of cardboard its not the most comfortable, but its pretty much exactly what I was expecting. I have used them for a couple games and watched a bunch of videos already. I spent about 30 minutes with my phone strapped in a box that was strapped to my face. Kind of funny, but if you want a cheap VR experience I recommend trying it out. For cardboard they are pretty sturdy and I can see this item lasting me a while. I cant wait to show them to some friends. Oh did I mention I got 2 pairs in one order! Haha! Now I don't even have to share mine! BTW I added tape to the nose rest area to make them more comfortable (see the picture)I enjoy writing reviews and answering questions. If you have a question, please ask. I usually answer daily. If you enjoy my review, give me a vote please! Thanks for taking a second or two to read my thoughts and have a blessed day! I paid full price for this, no perks - but who cares, it's awesome!!!
Oh, now we had fun with this - don't let the cheap looks fool you. Once you figure out the tech side of the phone's needed settings, set up fr this set is a breeze. This was tested on my son's Samsung S5, as my phone (BLU Studio 5c HD) did not work..nor could it even download the Google Cardboard app. What's in the box? (No pun intended)* Items came in a bubble pouch. It was only $3.99 to get it the next day, so I did.* When I got that thing open, (it really wanted to stay sealed) out fell 2 cellophane packs with the cardboard pieces, one headset per pack.* Unknown to me previously, also out of the pouch came a microcloth cleaner, and the cutest little owl keychain. I love, love the owl!!!The setup : all but 4 things are already pre-creased and attached together for you. These things are:* The eye/ face plate. This will fit inside and hold your lenses for you (pre attached inside the faceplate).* The bridge. This fits between the top hood, the back of the lense faceplate and the floor of the headset. This keeps it all stable.* The Velcro self-adhesive squares and elastic Velcro headband (which is very stretchy, by the way. It fit all of us.)* The rubber band - Simple and sweet, it holds it all shut, and I'm glad it's there.**I do not count the magnets as being unattached, as where they are situated upon opening is roughly where they go when set up.**The low down? Awesome, awesome purchase. This was everything it was claimed to be and more. Yes, it is cardboard, but it is a simple way to let the kids try VR , cheap to replace, and a fun thing to let them put together and see the wonders that the most basic items can supply. My teen and tween had a blast, and I am impressed too - you have got to look up YouTube 360 and VR vids, too. The coasters and underwater clips are crazy! Yes, buy it! For the price you get two whole sets, a cloth and an epic lil owl keychain that was such fun to find. Great purchase!!

Great Product - Watch Out for the Future
I received the headsets promptly with Prime shipping and promptly put them together. The written instructions aren't very good but there's a diagram on the other side that's easier to follow. Note that the included rubber band goes around the flap with the black and white NFC tag, it helps keep the phone in place. Then, it was time to install the Cardboard app on my 2013 Moto X to see what I could do...Wow. Just wow. Even though my phone isn't powerful enough to deliver a perfect experience, I can see the reason for all the VR hype. This is a perfectly functional Cardboard (for now), just like any other that you'd buy. The only issue is that it discolors with use from oily skin. That's to be expected, of course. For $5 a piece, I'm not upset. The head strap isn't comfortable at all, but Cardboards aren't supposed to have one - having to hold the viewer up to your face means that you'll put it down the second you feel any discomfort. There's reason to pick a different viewer, though. The newest version of the Google Cardboard SDK (which developers use to make apps for Cardboard) removes support for the magnet switch that this headset includes. You'll need to purchase a v2 compatible viewer in order to continue to use the most updated apps. This one is twice the price of the one on this page, but uses the new capacitive button: Google Cardboard v2.0 Virtual Reality Headset DIY 3D Glasses- Featuring Capacitive Touch Button Compatible With iPhone and Android

NOT an official google cardboard
I ordered both these which require assembly and what I found where the official Google Cardboard-these are not official Google cardboard. No idea what the magnet is for. There is no “button” (a simple mechanism on the outside connecting a wire to a conductive material that taps the screen while you’re using it. Used to make selections on the screen as there is on the official Cardboard.

Magnets Not Working
Hello! Over all, I must say I was satisfied with this purchase. But... The magnets didn't work on neither of them. I managed to use the magnet hole to tap the phone with my left index finger, which did work just fine and because I was able to make it work, I'm not all dissatisfied. I'm overall rating this product with a 2 because of the fact that in the end what was delivered was not what was advertised.
