Powerful, high quality, and the chopper attachment is a must have
I’ve been a long-time Vitamix blender user and have always been impressed with their quality, so I bought this Vitamix 5-Speed Immersion Blender knowing I probably wouldn’t be disappointed...and I wasn’t. The motor is powerful, the build quality feels very solid, and the five speeds give great control depending on what you’re blending. It handles soups, sauces, and smoothies effortlessly. I also picked up the chopper attachment, which works great for things like onions, herbs, and small prep jobs. It’s a really useful addition and makes the whole setup even more versatile. Overall, another high-quality Vitamix product that feels built to last.

Awesome product from the trusted Vitamix brand
Wow! This is a fabulous immersion blender true to the Vitamix brand!! I’m a happy owner of a Vitamix Pro 750 (used daily since 2012). This little, cute immersion blender has so much power! My boyfriend presented it to me as a Christmas gift but knew better than waiting until then to present it to me (because I already used it yesterday to make us pasta sauce from whole tomatoes, shallots, fresh basil and spices. It took me 45 seconds on level 2 to make dreamy sauce. I’m a power smoothie person and knew the true test would be my breakfast smoothie this morning. I layered the ingredients as instructed in the booklet (which is the opposite of what I do in my 750 Pro): cacao powder, sesame seeds, roasted peanuts, medjool dates, banana, water. I was skeptical it could produce a smooth smoothie in my actual big smoothie glass. Alas, I turned on the power, immersed this beauty into the ingredients as far down as it would go, started at speed 1 as they suggested and then cranked it slowly to speed 5. Ha! Speed 5 is so powerful I couldn’t move it so I put it down to 3 and blended for about 30 seconds. I was impressed! It made a creamy, dreamy smoothie! It wasn’t as smooth as my 750 Pro mainly because I still need to get the hang of moving the immersion blender around, up and down and figuring out the best speed and duration. It is awesome that I can easily clean it in a glass with water and a few drops of dish liquid in 10 seconds! I LOVE this immersion blender and look forward to making soups, sauces, nut butters and traveling with it once this pandemic is over. Thank you for another fabulous product, Vitamix family :-) ————— December 20, 2020 update. I’ve used the immersion blender 1-3 times a day since December 7. My smoothies are very smooth. I made carrot/ginger/cashew soup yesterday and it was creamy, smooth and blended on speed 3 for about 45 seconds. I made coconut milk hot cacao with spices this evening and used speed 3. After blending, I heated it and it was smooth and delicious on a cold day. I also made fresh, chipped ginger /freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice using speed 5 and the juice came out pretty smooth. It had ginger pulp which I expected. What I really love is that I can blend it in any container (as long as it’s wide enough) so I don’t dirty as many dishes. I also like that I can blend snall quantities that are too small to blend in my Vitamix 750 Pro. I’m very happy with it.

High quality product that meets Vitamix standards and delivers excellent value
The Vitamix 5 Speed Immersion Blender has been outstanding. It delivers powerful, consistent blending with excellent control across all five speeds. The motor is strong enough to handle tough ingredients, yet smooth enough for soups, sauces, and purees without splatter. Build quality is solid and feels premium, as expected from Vitamix. Cleanup is quick, and the ergonomic design makes it comfortable to use for extended periods. It performs reliably, saves time, and produces professional level results at home. A high quality immersion blender that fully lives up to the Vitamix name.

Good blender
It’s powerful and quick, seems durable. A little bit heavy than my former blender, but I’m very happy with the result. It’s expensive but I think it’s worth it.

High quality hand blender, easy to use, has multiple speeds to choose from. It has two blades that make up four total, compared to previous item I've owned with just one two-sided blade. Recommend.

Great for meal prep of a single person
Pros 1. I know lots of people are not happy with the sealant, but it is necessary when making smaller portions so your pots and pans don't get scratched. Your food isn't going to be marinating in it, so I do not find it a health concern. 2. If you can get the proper circulation, the power is very nice for breaking down nuts for nut milk. 3. It's easy to clean, easy to use and the size is just right 4. I would say the price is fair. It does not feel cheaply made. Try to wait for the 15.00 coupon that comes out occasionally 5. This is ideal for the 1 person household, where the rubber will protect your pots from getting scratched 6. Super sharp blades! for right now! 7. There is content on youtube on how to use! I love that. Cons 1. Motor won't last for an eternity but I would say the warranty is fair. 2. The four blade design is not ideal. That's more of a marketing gimmick. 3 blades are best for circulation. 3. What do I do when the blades are dull? I wouldn't grind ice with it if you want it to last. 4. I would rather a seven year warranty Notes: I purchased this immersion blender and compared it against the Waring Commercial WSB40. I intended to pick the best one after 29 days use. But I kept them both! They both had strengths that I did not want to live without. The Waring's 3 prong design was elite and gave that blender incredible circulation! The Waring didn't need the power that the Vitamix had because the design was so incredible. But the Waring was industrial in size and not ideal for making smaller portions. Also, if you do not handle the Waring with authority, pots will get scratched. With the Vitamix immersion blender, your pots won't get scratched when making smaller amounts but you have to maneuver more because the design is not has good as the Waring. The Waring allows the food to circulate much more efficiently and therefore is the better product in some circumstances. But you will learn how to maneuver the Vitamix and once you do, you will gain ground circulation wise. The Vitamix was just wonderful for making smaller amounts of food and not having to worry about your pots getting scratched. I kept the Vitamix immersion blender for those times when I only want to blend smaller amounts and I kept the Waring for the bigger amounts. Think about what your needs are and match it up accordingly! --

Exceeded Expectations
I've wanted an immersion blender for years and finally decided to go for it. I did my research and decided on the Vitamix. It has exceed my expectations and I'm very happy with my choice. The blender performs exactly as it does in the video provided (watch it!) and blends very smoothly and thoroughly. I've made a few smoothies (frozen banana, ice, berries, yogurt, spinach...even carrot and apple with the skin on). It came out great each time. I also made a pureed soup right in the pot which was extremely easy (see photo). The Vitamix churned through the cooked bacon, tomatoes, onions and carrots with ease and my pot was still pristine. You don't need to worry about anything damaging your pot. The sturdy black plastic portion surrounding the blades provides complete protection. Clean up is very simple. The lower blade portion twists off for rinsing. I like the fact that it's comprised of only two pieces. The motor is somewhat heavy, so if you are looking for a lightweight immersion blender this may not be right for you (if physically holding about two pounds is a challenge). However, the weight is well worth it for the powerful and efficient motor. The design was well thought out, it's user friendly, and it more than does the job. I personally didn't want any accessories (it doesn't come with any) and the clutter of additional pieces I may not use. If you have a wide mouth jar or glass (three inches or more) you're good to go. I highly recommend this Vitamix blender (and no...nobody asked me to say this...it's just really awesome).

Ultra-powerful Immersion Blender
I was expecting this to be much more powerful than my aged, anemic immersion blender. I, however, had no idea of the real power in this device. I made a pesto with the blender being at the most powerful setting. It blended, but then also whipped in so much air that it nearly turned my pesto into whipped cream. It did this incredibly quickly and very, very quietly. I remade the same pesto recipe on the lowest setting and then the middle setting. For most day-to-day tasks this powerful, slick blender is over-powered - which I think is good. I love this immersion blender and would buy it again. Given the brand and apparent quality, I expect to use it for years. Expect most tasks to only require a power setting of 3.

WOW
First of all, I am a huge fan of vitamix. I have the ascent blender, the food processing attachment, aerator, and the various size jugs. While I use the blender for various jobs, it is quite big. I saw an ad for this immersion blender, I thought why not give it a go! We do have the kitchenaid stick blender as well and next to this, it’s like a not even on the same scale, not even close. If you have ever used a vitamix, you know it’s built to last a lifetime. It’s a brand you can trust. If you can’t see yourself splurging on the big blender, this is a VERY good alternative that does the job just as well! In seconds, it pulverizes ice to make the perfect consistency smoothies. No chunks! The design of the bottom ensures the liquid is sucked into the blade and not the blade sucked into the container. It has the perfect weight and is easy to hold in any size hand. Yes, one hand is all you need on the stick itself. It looks great in the kitchen, too! I’ve also ordered the food processing attachment and the whisk, and can’t wait to try them out. This will be our go to for single smoothies from now on. I highly recommend, especially if you can get it on sale! $119cad for this is unbelievably cheap for what you get. At 625watt power, you really cannot do better.

Well built and makes great smoothies.
WAY better than the Ninja that it replaced (and which fell apart after only a few months)! But this Vitamix appears to be more robustly constructed and produces much smoother smoothies. Go for this over the Ninja!
