Crushing and slicing garlic are my least favourite jobs in the kitchen. Every proprietary garlic crusher is either difficult to use or difficult to clean or both. Yes, I can flatten with a knife and chop but inevitably sky the garlic cloves halfway across the kitchen. This, despite my scepticism, actually crushes garlic without making my hands ache and it is easy to clean. Some recipes call for sliced garlic - yes it does efficiently slice garlic. Now all I need is to find a way of peeling garlic that is foolproof!

My old garlic press which I had used for 10 years gave up the ghost and have since purchased 3 replacements, which either broke or didn’t do the job. This Zulay premium garlic press is the bees knees and great at pressing the garlic. Also easy to clean.

I had my old garlic press for 30 years. This one hasn't lasted 6 weeks. It's difficult to use and the handles fell apart after few uses. I do not recommend this garlic press.

This press works well as does the peeler. It’s easy to use.

Very sturdy and easy to use, I have personally witnessed an 80 year old woman with bad hands effortlessly crushing an unpeeled garlic clove. Puree comes out, skin stays in the press.The clever prongs on the plate make sure that no garlic gets stuck in the press, roughly doubling the amount of puree that comes out if you're just doing one clove.I've tried it side by side with the (very good) industry-standard IKEA KONCIS press and this is much better in all ways.Other reviews mention a lack of durability. As new it seems solid as a rock, but I'll update this if it does break.

Looks good - modern. But the black inserts fell out first use and won't go back in. We've unfortunately missed the returns window as we were having new kitchen fitted so it didn't get used until later. Disappointed.

Easy to Use Garlic Press - I have weak wrists due to my age so I was pleased to find this was so easy to use. Quick to clean as well. Happy customer.

The product is sturdy works well , but the only down side is garlic gets stuck and takes a few minutes to remove it .

Use this mostly for slicing and crushing fresh garlic (after peeling the garlic). It works very well for these tasks. It's a bit hard to clean, mostly because fresh garlic tends to be juicy and sticky. It's so much faster than slicing or crushing by hand - so it's always kept handy and gets used a lot. It fits together well - the two halves mate well so there's very little fiddling needed when you use it. Nice!
