Nice product
worked well with my holga 120n the pictures came out beautifully. I would recommend for first time users to see if they like this format of pictures compared to photos taken with 120 film. it is an cheaper alternative to buying a 35mm holga camera. overall easy to install easy to use nice product.

I wish it showed the sprocket holds, but it's still nice to be able to run some 35mm through my camera. Buy a changing bag if you're going to use this often, it'll make it much easier.

Works for what it is.
The 35mm film adapter for the Holga does work like you'd expect it to but it's not the easiest thing to deal with. It does come with a nice sticker to put on the top of your film advance wheel and that does work quite nicely actually, got them developed easily at WalMart's drop-off box. But the reason for me getting this was to save money from having to get 120 film developed and that reason is kinda gone. I found out that WalMart will develop 120 quite cheaply through it's drop off box which is a big plus and so it's actually cheaper to develop 120 film than the 35mm, the 35mm cost me a pretty penny to get done and the 120 is actually cheaper from what I hear. But with that said this product does work as advertised but there are two things I didn't like about it. Having to change out the film in a completely dark room was more hassle than I knew, I found only one room capable of this and it's only capable of this at night since light leaks in during the day and so it's not exactly convenient if you get to the end of your roll in the middle of the day. Also one other thing was the scratches across the film, I'm not sure if it was the adapter that caused this or a film processing problem with FujiFilm who did the pickup process from Walmart but it wasn't nice to find on my film.

best accessiore
The 35mm adaptor is the best accessiore you can buy for your holga seeing as how developing different sized film formats can be expensive and you have to first find a shop that even offers it.It was easy to insert and you just have to keep track about how many exposures you already did on your own. One full revulsion of the wheel forwards you to the next picture.

Superb adaptor
We've come a long way since we made our own adaptors with little cubes of foam! This is a really great way to do it. The adaptor for the 120 pan, which I also have, works really well, too.Be aware that you still need a changing bag (or a mighty dark sweater) to get the film back in the cartridge and get it out of the camera.

No film sprocket holes, not worth it.
I was interested in exposing the sprocket holes in 35mm film with this adapter. Despite the customer images next to the product photo, this adapter will NOT expose the film sprockets. For my purpose, the plastic insert adapter is quite useless and the extra solid back is redundant if you tape the original back cover correctly. So, basically, you can pay 15 dollars for the two small stickers for the winder button. You can also search the web for winding charts and easy, inexpensive rig instructions to expose the sprocket holes. Most of the various sellers' descriptions of this adapter are quite disingenuous, as they make no mention of sprocket holes, knowing that's exactly what many of us are after.

The back is worth the price.
I do not use the insert as I WANT the image to go across the film sprockets BUT the back is worth the price paid.

Good but not great
The adapter kit does what it is supposed to do, but I am not 100% satisfied. Before I begin, I want to say that I use a changing bag to remove the film, and I think that is waaay better than finding a dark room. The bag allows me to change rolls of film on location. I bought my changing bag at a local camera store for about $15. The sticker for the crank wheel works well in telling you how many cranks you need to hear for the next shot. If you load the camera without any masks for sprocket panorama shots, you can use the sticker to advance the film 2 frames, eliminating guess work. The adapter kit makes your images rectangular. On the film, your image will be 3.5cm wide X 2.4cm high with NO vignetting. That is not really what I was hoping for. I would have preferred a square image with vignetting to "simulate" using the Holga with 120 film and no mask. The kit should also come with a corresponding mask for the viewfinder. Only what you see in the very center of the viewfinder will show up on the film when you snap a photo. You'd have to create your own viewfinder mask with black tape or something. Or learn to get used to framing differently with 35mm film installed. With my first roll, many heads of people were cut off. Also, this is hard to explain, but the images seem "flat". I am pretty sure it is because only the center of the lens is being used. The outer edge of the lens, the part that really gives images their warped-dreaminess (and vignetting), goes to waste. This was solved a bit with the use of the Holga wide angle lens. I imagine the Holga Fisheye lens would help too.So, because of all this, it might better to just buy the Holga 135BC. Once you add up the cost of the 35mm adapter kit, the changing bag, and the wide angle lens, you come close to the cost of the 135BC. And 2 Holgas is better than one. Especially when you can load each one with different film sizes, and if you want, one with b&w and one with colour film.
