Does a good job of cleaning and lubricating my bicycle's chain. There has to be something absorbent behind to chain to catch the overspray. I always lube the chain with Finish Line Full Synthetic Wet Bike Lubricant after using this to give my chain extra protection.

This stuff exceeded my expectations in every way! So easy and effective. Not only will the drivetrain on your bike look new as it did on my 20 year old Specialized Stumpjumper you'll get an unreal increase in efficiency and speed. Seriously I'm in awe, deep gravel on a local path is usually a pain to get through, absolutely shredding that area now. Really, this stuff is remarkable. Now I know why the local shop didn't have it. Rather sell you a can of cleaner degreaser and chain butter or whatever for $15 per can rather than this stuff for $12...big thanks to the every day bike mechanic on YouTube that recommended this stuff!!

I ride about 300 miles a month. I usually don't believe in 1-step system, especially when you're combining 2 functions that are opposite of each (degreasing and lubricating). I usually use a chain scrubber (similar to the Park Tool CM-5.2 Cyclone Chain Scrubber) filled with Simple Green liquid degreaser, and finish it off with Rock n Roll lube. But after my usual routine with degreasing, I decided to try this 1-step cleaner to see how well it works. And OMG, it picked up all the leftover dirt and grime the chain scrubber didn't. And combined with the straw, it acts like a water jet that blasts away all that dirt/grime, leaving the chain like new condition! As for the lubricant part of this item, I still don't think it can match the lubrication of Rock n Roll, but it's like 90% of it if I have to compare, which is pretty darn good! I followed the instruction and applied second coating. Overall, I'm really happy about this product. I'd add this to part of my usual cleaning routine, and every couple hundred miles, I would apply the Rock n Roll lube as a second layer. But now I don't have to use the Rock n Roll every time after I degrease now. This item really takes care of all the work in 1 simple step!

Spray this solution on the drive train to loosen caked dirt. Wipe of the excess. Run the chain backwards with a rag around the chain until the black goo is gone.

My can of 1-Step, Cleaner and Lubricant by Finish Line came today, and I love this stuff! Can be expensive, but worth it. I use it on my bicycles, almost anywhere but the brake pads and tires. Oh - and this is my 2nd can, because my sister, who lives in a different city than me, had a misbehaving seat belt on her Toyota, that was driving her crazy. It would often fail to latch - to snap together, the first few times she'd try. Probably dirty like a bicycle shifter, so I sprayed inside it twice, while wiping off the chrome buckle, after removing it, and that got it working again. That could literally be a life saver, as she wasn't going to have it fixed, and was tempted to drive when it wouldn't latch together.

Finish Line 1-Step bicycle chain and drivetrain lubricant cleaner is worth the money for speed and quality of the product. Has a pleasant smell. Comes in a propellant can that either broadly spray, or pinpoint spray with included spray tip tube.

This aerosol spray is brilliant, it removes dirt and grit from the chain very well. Just spray onto the chain as you rotate the pedals, then wipe off with a clean lint free cloth, I use old worn out cotton tee shirts. Once the chain has been wiped free of all surplus lubricant, you are ready to go, 5 minutes effort after a ride, while you could down. Chain runs freely, gear changes are slick, and chain life is extended. If I'm riding on wet days regularly, I apply a little finish line wet lube to the chain after cleaning, but not essential if you clean regularly.
