Redken All Soft Shampoo – For Dry, Brittle Hair

I’ve really enjoyed using this shampoo so far. One of the things I like most is how gentle it feels on my hair while still cleaning it really well. After washing, my hair feels fresh and clean without feeling overly dry or stripped. It also leaves my hair noticeably soft and smooth, which is something I really appreciate in a shampoo. Another thing I like is that the scent isn’t too strong or overwhelming. It has a pleasant fragrance, but it doesn’t linger heavily on my hair. The shampoo is also easy to work through my hair and gives me a nice, clean feeling after rinsing. Overall, I’m very happy with how my hair feels after using it. It does a good job of cleansing while still leaving my hair soft and manageable. So far, it has been a great addition to my hair care routine.

I have been using this shampoo for a month and let me tell you my hair is in a better state and I have noticed that it has minimize the amount of hair I also shed.

This was recommended to me to help reduce my hair breakage, which has gotten worse as I’ve aged. I noticed an almost immediate difference in my hair health (while also implementing other changes). The scent is nice. It applies easily and leaves hair feeling nice and soft after use - no oiliness at all. Although it is quite expensive compared to what I used to spend on hair products, I think it has value for the money. The volume of product in the bottle size I ordered is very plentiful. And minimal product is required for each use - much less than I’m used to needing to get a good lather. So I think this product will last a long time. I’ve been very happy with this product and do recommend it.

Both of my bottles came sealed, which is great. Amazon is an authorized seller for redken, now whether they keep up with the products (ex: expiration, storage temperatures, quality control) I am unsure of, there seem to be lots of negative comments/reviews. I have used redken in the past, yes it made my hair oily on day 2 or 3, but it made my hair the healthiest it had ever been. I am used to a whitish yellow thick consistency, with a beautiful scent. The scent I received is still the same as I remember it to be, but the color.... it was slightly a pink color which I am not used to (could mean it was stored incorrectly or has expired) I will use this product, as long as I have no negative reactions. I have never had a reaction to redken before so I should not this time around unless 1). They changed their formula or 2). Product is expired, was stored incorrectly, or quality has deteriorated, failure due to product abuse. I will update this soon enough, if I have come in contact with a reaction or faulty product. I have also purchased the same shampoo and conditioner for the same price of 33$ off of ulta.com which is also an authorized seller, according to the redken website. I will compare the 2 products (even though the same, from different retailers) (color, consistency, smell, texture, and performance) when the time comes and also give an update as to if you should spend your money getting it from Amazon since so many of you have left me feel uneasy about my purchase and Amazon has no comments to be heard from. Check the expiration before use, and patch test 24-48 hours before use to be safe. Update/use 1: no negative reactions, smelled great, felt great, made my hair soft like always. I did notice dandruff? I've never had dandruff but I don't know if I had it before I washed my hair with this or just after because I don't pay that much attention to my scalp. I will updated tomorrow or in a few days, whenever my next wash will be and then again for the third use and comparison to the same products I've received from Ulta.com. Update/use 3 and comparison: use 3, still no negative reaction, I figured out it wasn't dandruff but product buildup on my scalp because I'm used to using conditioner on my scalp as well since my hair is dry. I made that mistake the first time but I changed it with the 3rd use and no more product build up or greasy scalp since this is a very moisturizing product. I received the same product from ulta.com and they are identical, smell color, texture, thickness, etc. Both are within the expiration, and after opened they last around a year, unopened 3 years. I patch tested both. As far as I can tell this is a good product and good seller. I may have been lucky, so still patch test, and check expiration and seals!

I have fine blonde dry hair. Immediately once I put it in my hair I felt the difference my hair felt. The next day it still felt clean and soft and it never does usually and that’s with out all the products. All I did was use this as shampoo and the purple conditioner they have. I put in some detangler and that was it. Hair felt so soft with out any products or heat tools. Definitely recommend trying.

Okay, so I am someone who will endlessly read the reviews and do a ton of research before buying. You know the drill, sort by most recent and browse those reviews then sort by lowest rated and see the complaints there. I saw some mixed reviews on this and the only thing really stopping me was the price. This is unfortunately one of those luxery items that WORKS. Night and day difference. What you should not about this is that even though its expensive, it lathers well so you only have to use a small amount so a smaller bottle will last you the same a regular bottle of shampoo if used correctly. When you are using this, here is what I do. Get in the shower, soak you hair with water. The girls with thicker hair; yeah stand under the spray for like a good 1 or 2 min. When your hair is ALL the way wet, get a dime sized amount of this and really work that into your scalp. Just the top of your head. Scrub it down, I'm serious. Now, rinse it out. Get another small dime sized amount of this and repeat. The second time around this should lather even more because your scalp is free from the initial buildup/residue. Really scrub your scalp again. Now rinse it out and apply conditioner just to the ends of your hair. Now your done! You don't need a ton of this stuff to make magic happen. My hair instantly felt silliest after the first wash with this. Good luck ladies! ✌🏼
