I love Donna Eden and Energy Medicine and in my former career, I was a psychologist, so I love that there is an intersection between the psychology and the energetic, truly a union of Donna and David's marriage! The types they identify are RIGHT ON, and I found it amazing that they could know me and my partner so well!I love applying energy medicine techniques, focused on the meridian system, to calm my body, engage my spirit and passion, and connect with my partner! They also apply Attachment Theory to the mix, and offer very concrete strategies to create a heightened connection.The one downside, which is why I have 4 stars rather than 5, is that this book, (like many books for couples), is disappointingly very heterosexist.They only highlight heterosexual couples through vignettes and pictures and act as though heterosexual are the only possible coupling! I felt hurt and then angry at this oversight.Donna and David have been really progressive in their thought and actions professionally, so it's odd that they wouldn't include at least one vignette of lesbian/gay/bi (much less, trans couples!) in their descriptions. But, perhaps they just don't know any gay/lesbian/bi couples.Apart from this, this is wonderful way to apply energy medicine to your life and to see very positive changes in your relationship!
