It is of good quality. Polyester, and Silk. I didnt realize I was a size 39. Do NOT machine wash the buttons are somewhat delicate. Ask me anything I'll write back quick.

Great for Civil War reenactor
This worked out perfectly for my husband's Civil War era civilian outfit. I was concerned that the shawl collar would be too shiny, like a modern tux, but it's all good. He does reenactments as a Methodist Circuit Rider and Confederate Civil War chaplain.
