LifeProof FRĒ SERIES iPhone 6 PLUS/6s PLUS Waterproof Case (5.5" Version) - Retail Packaging - BANZAI (COWABUNGA/WAVE CRASH/LONGBOARD)

Wow!! This case is AMAZING!!! I absolutely LOVE it!! I don't normally write reviews, but I had to for this case! I ordered it as a Prime Member and was able to get it in today, the exact same day I ordered it, which was VERY nice!I did the 30 minute water test that is recommended in the instructions, WITHOUT my iPhone 6s Plus in it yet! Boy, was I glad I read and followed the instructions about that! The reason being is because after the first 30 minute test, I found water in the case! I thought I bought a lemon, but upon further inspection, unbeknownst to me, there was one edge of the phone that I had not properly snapped all the way shut. Well, as you can imagine, that was the reason water got in. I would have ruined my phone had I first tested it with it inside! It sure does pay to actually READ the instructions! Lol!!So, after drying it all up, I again tested it a second time for any leakage, of course after double checking all was sealed tightly this time. After the second 30 minute test, it was bone dry inside! Not a drop of water to be found!!!I need a very sturdy, virtually indestructible case, because I am handicap and use a walker, and I have major balance issues. As a result, I tend to drop my phone A LOT! I have been looking for the perfect case for a few months now. I had settled for the OtterBox Defender, because of it's reputation for intense protection. However, I was NOT pleased with it at all! For starters, I absolutely hated how HUGE the OtterBox is!! It is like carrying around a BRICK!! NO THANK YOU!!! Second of all, I had to remove the plastic screen off of the OtterBox, because it has so much give to it and did NOT sit flush against the screen at all. It was VERY difficult to use my screen without pushing hard and getting frustrated each time! After I removed the screen, I made sure I used a glass screen protector instead. I have used the Zagg brand for awhile now and it has saved my screen MANY times! And whenever it gets cracked, all you do is contact Zagg and the send you out a new one each time! All you have to pay is shipping (which is under $5) and then you send your broken one back. I must have done this at least four times already! As I said, I drop my phone A LOT!Anyhow, I am so excited about my Lifeproof Fre for my iPhone 6s Plus! Even though it says to remove all screens, I thought I might just give it a try with my Zagg glass screen protector I already had on, just to see how it would work, again since I need as much phone protection as possible!! Anyhow, I am very happy to say that it works FANTASTIC!! It is still EXTREMELY sensitive to the touch!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this case!!! By far, my absolute favorite! I will look no farther! It is also EXTREMELY thin and light weight, especially compared to the MASSIVE brick of the OtterBox!It took me so long to decide on this case, because of the high cost! But now, I can honestly say it was definitely worth the cost!!! I only wish I had bought it first instead of last!! You won't go wrong spending the extra money to purchase this case. After all, it is worth it and makes sense to spend more on a quality case to protect an $800 phone!! You really do get what you pay for.

Probably my favorite case in the world.I have used protective cases for 6+ years. Now on my iPhone 6S+ I am proud to say this case has protected it from spills, falls, and everything in between. It is miraculously resilient, very protective, immune to dust (almost), and doesn't interfere with very much at all.PROS:*Ultra-protective. The phone has fallen from many feet onto asphalt, concrete, and tile. Underneath this case (which has a few bumps and bruises obviously)... my phone looks LITERALLY BRAND NEW. And that's my goal.*Stylish enough to not look weird. You'd think those protrusions on the side by the volume buttons would be weird and hard to hold... but it turns out for a giant phone they are actually AWESOME. You will learn to love them. They improve grip rather than making it more challenging.*Waterproof... at least for vapor/splash scenarios. I obviously don't fully submerge the phone, but LifeProof says you could. Do this at your own risk. It's great for peace of mind in the bathroom though!*The fingerprint sensor/home button cover might look a little worn but never interferes with Touch-ID even after many many months.CONS:*Some dust will sneak its way under the cover by entering through the charging port. That's okay, just pry it apart to clean it out.*Major problem for future thought: the sound quality of things playing through the case and of your voice spoken into the microphone are BAD. If you need to constantly take calls without a head-set, perhaps reconsider. I exclusively use bluetooth headphones so this does not bother me at all... but you need to be aware of this!*Over time the "click-together" front and back halves of the case may stop being perfectly flush with one another, but this does not harm the protective aspect of the case at all. It is no more than 1/10th of a millimeter anyway. This MAY harm full water-proofing though...Get this case. The others are amateurs compared to this. I have suggested it to others and I will continue to do so. Even with a few flaws it's head and shoulders above the rest. Really happy with it.This is in NO way a paid review. I paid full price and I would pay full price again!

I work and play in harsh conditions - this case is excellent quality, takea a beating, and my ancient phone looks brand new.

La verdad es la segunda funda que compro, son muy resistentes y aguantadoras. Soy médico de la UCI así que ha aguantado las limpiezas con alcohol, cloro y sustancias químicas. Por su durabilidad decidí comprar una nueva por qué la previa me duró como 4 años. El teléfono se me ha caído caído en múltiples ocasiones y siempre ha salido intacto. Además es bonito, hace lucir el cel un poco más grande pero yo no tengo problema. Lo único malo sería el botón de silencio que está muy duro, y hace muy difícil cambiar la modalidad.

Mi pantalla funciona mejor ahora que está cubierta por el plástico rígido de la funda. La huella también la detecta a la perfección.Funda robusta. El orificio para dejar paso a la clavija de carga es lo suficientemente ancho para dejar pasar una clavija de cargador para iPhone no oficial, no como ocurre en la otra funda de esta misma marca, la Nüde, que no puede ser usada con cables que no fueran Apple.La sensación al sujetar con las manos el móvil dentro de la funda es buena, no se escurre, aunque apoyado sobre superficies lisas sí desliza (salpicadero del coche, cubierta de barco), no como el modelo Nüde, que traía un antideslizante en los bordes superior e inferior. Aunque por esta razón el modelo Fre se traba menos al ser introducidoen bolsillos estrechos, riñoneras etc.De momento no ha sufrido caídas de más de 1,5 metros, ni la he sumergido. Actualizaré cuando tenga esas experiencias. Por ahora estoy contenta y las tapas de los orificios de carga y auriculares están aguantando con un mes de uso intensivo.

Like most peeps said that they can’t hear when on call. I feel I can pretty much hear it well. Didn’t have a problem.... rest assured by the product proves what it says!

I have had one of these or the nuud version on most of my phones. We pay so much for our smart phone then trust bits of silicone to protect them. Life proof are fab. Yes if you drop down the outside steps will chip case but not your phone. It’s not totally indestructible but offers outstanding protection for expensive item. Love the colour as found the white and black but bland. This was a very good price compared to usual.
