If you have an iKamand…you need these. I love the iKamand as it makes temperature management of the cook much easier, but it only comes with one meat probe which is a problem, especially if you’re cooking several types of meats. The iKamand has three meat probe outlets, so this answers the call. I have a classic and a Joe Jr. Love ‘em!

Nothing wrong with these probes; they work as well as the ones included with the iKamand. However, since the iKamand itself has horrible problems that I've not been able to resolve with multiple returns, I'm now stuck with a set of unusable probes from being out of the return window.Word to the wise: if you return an item because it is defective, return all the accessories at the same time, even if they work. Just repurchase them so that, in the worst case of needing to return the accessorized item late in the return window, you aren't permanently stuck with pricy additions.Lastly, if you're putting this item in your cart alongside a new iKamand controller, do yourself a favor and remove that item from your cart. If you're staying on Amazon, look at the Flame Boss, but otherwise, look up ThermoWorks Sense + Billows. They seem to actually know what they are doing regarding temperature control.

After on use one probe did not work right again. But I had an extra one(I bought 2 packs) and they still work fine. It looks like it may last awhile. If I have to replace these every couple of months, then it would be better to invest in some longer lasting probes or system.

I ended up returning my entire iKAMAND after getting these probes. Out of the box, they were all off by some degree with one being +/- 8F. This is unacceptable given the high price. I know you can calibrate in the app, but I don't want an extra chore of making sure the right probe is in the right port where I calibrated the massive temp offset (these aren't marked in any way). Something that was supposed to make grill mgmt easier just turned into another chore.

Compare all the other temperature probes and this in a ridiculous price. This is a clear indication that the company does not care if it fleeces its customers for all they can get. There is no technology built into the probe itself. It's about $5 to manufacture.
