The stand itself is what plugs into the outlet, and you just press the glue gun down to lock it into place for heating. Personally, I don’t find that to be a downside. Great hot glue gun. I'm using it for an RC airplane, and it burns the foam a little bit, but it ensures that the bond is very strong. Additionally, it doesn't cool off very fast, so you have time to remove any extra glue from the surface.

I was expecting a small glue gun, it's big. Love that it's cordless, now it's easier to work with crafts. Really great battery life and the stand is amazing. The quality is great as well.

Love this cordless glue gun. Works well with regular sticks I had bought already for my corded glue gun. I can see why people rate this well. Easy to use and easy to set up. Gets pretty hot too. I had a smaller cordless that worked but it didn't last as long when being used. This bigger one stayed hot longer as long as you use the charging pad. I bought to use in my classroom for crafts and I literally only have to wall outlets, which doesn't make it ideal to use a corded glue gun.

This thing is all kinds of evil. Yes, it gets hot. REAL HOT. Like lava on the sun hot & I have the scars to prove it. There is no messing around with this thing. It's either "melting flesh" or turned off. That's it. And the glue strings ...so many glue strings. Like more than my old gun ever produced. I love the cordless capability. That's been great but if I knew before that once this thing has tasted flesh, it will come after you every time, I would have gone with a different gun. I've used glue guns all my life (and I am way old enough to know better) but this one is like none I've ever used. I've known my other guns. I learned their tricks & the best way to handle them. This one? It's got multiple personalities & every one hates the user. Just be prepared for a purchase of industrial size aloe, a lot of cussing & a lot of glue.

This a great glue gun. The heat is perfect for difficult jobs but it’s still nice and sleek. I love the stand that comes with it because I never have to worry about where I’m going to lay it down again. The wireless action is a game changer!!!

Great product. Unfortunately doesn’t say it doesn’t come with uk plug. However I just used a kettle lead from my camera charger. I did start a refund because when I searched for info on the manufacturers own website I realised this model was under £20 so was annoyed I’d spent £42. Once I bought some glue sticks I was more than pleased with the performance of this product. Nice & light yet doesn’t feel cheap. Once you get used to trigger pressure the glue flows really well.

Love love love love love love couldn't love it more perfect f****** thing but

I have used this glue gun for years now, i love it. I did need a uk plug converter, but once sorted, it was working perfectly. You can unattatch and use free hand or plug cable straight into the glue gun. I would recommend it! It is still going 5 years later :)
